Large mall with lots of options, it is well maintained and draws the shoppers. The anchor stores include Belk, JC Penney, Dillard's, Dick's Sporting goods, and then there are the specialty stores large and small. The food court is the average part, with Chick-fil-A, China Express and more. But there are bigger stand alone restaurants around the mall that are better to enjoy. This includes Texas Roadhouse, Red Robin, Sticky Fingers, Abeuelo's and a few others. The big draw is probably the Cinemark Theater, and then there is still a book store here to buy books. The mall walkers frequent the mall in the early mornings, but they are a friendly bunch. Just say Hi.

stars and strike were very racist to our friend. said he could no longer be served because he is from south africa and had an accent. they are absolutely ridiculous. did not give good service at all. our servicers were trying to "warn" each other about our group. saying we're had a lot to drink when we were all on one fab. so how was 10 drinks too much for 8 people???? very rude will never go back!!!!

Dying...... As all malls seem to be dying, there are a lot of empty spaces. The highlight of the mall is the Music Center...

Visited Tanger Outlets on Black Friday, which in hindsight was... ambitious. Traffic was backed up…read moreso badly that we spent about 30 minutes just trying to get off the offramp. By the time we finally reached the parking lot, it looked like the entire state of South Carolina had arrived ahead of us, but we somehow snagged a spot within 15 minutes, so small miracles do exist. Even though most of the outlet is outdoors, it was shoulder-to-shoulder crowds the entire time. Navigating between stores felt like participating in an unlicensed pedestrian Olympics. Definitely not the ideal day for strolling, browsing, or breathing. Once we actually got inside the shops, the selection was solid and there were plenty of good deals. Lots of variety, lots of brands, and most stores seemed well-stocked despite the chaos. Black Friday probably wasn't the brightest idea, but that's on us. I'd come back again, just on a normal day when the parking lot doesn't feel like Thunderdome and you can actually walk without being swept away by the crowd tide.

Great selection of stores at this local outlet mall. They have a large variety of shops so it…read morereally suits everyone's need. The walk path as many others have referenced are covered, which makes it nice when it's a very hot day. Also, the paths are so wide that you don't feel like you are crowded on top of one another. There are maps throughout so you can grab one easily versus trying to wing it. I also appreciate that they have a food court and various ice cream and coffee shops so if you need a quick bite it is easily accessible to you. Found parking to be easy to navigate and there are several different sections and lots. I didn't find a ton of discounts for reduced prices compared to what I would have expected for an outlet, but it's still fun to kill time when you are looking for something other than the beach to do. Who doesn't love retail therapy?

***Late post from my Oct 2023 East Coast trip***…read more After Crabby Jack's General Store visit, I continued my journey through until my next store victim LOL. The Stupid Factory store name was interesting. What caught my eyes was a sweater that had this saying, "I'm Not Old I'm Vintage". How cute is that! I thought it was so fitting for me since I was going to turn the big *0 later in 2023 LOL so I had to check it out. It's not a very big store, but they pack it with lots of shirts and sweaters that had some absurd quotes, some thought provoking sayings, some smart words, and you name it phrases. I was chuckling along the way from rack to rack. As I made my rounds from front of the store to around it to the front of it again, I finally saw the sweater that I saw at the window. Unfortunately, they did not have my large size LOL. They only had small size and I cannot fit a small... it won't go over my head LOL. I was not a happy camper at the time, but then I got over it. I probably don't want to call myself "vintage" because I'm not that ancient yet LOL. I did end up buying one medium shirt. I normally don't get medium, but I was thinking of my eldest daughter so I gave it to her after I got home. It's a very sassy shirt. She likes it. Staff was nice. Service was good. Prices were okay. Ambiance was fine... nothing extravagant. Another must visit when you're in Myrtle Beach! If you don't want to buy anything, at least drop by and read the shirts. Some are just hilarious! Others I can't vouch for... just not funny. Of course, the business would appreciate your support and patronage. Bring back a shirt souvenir... why not, you're on vacation! P.S. I will post photos later. Thanks for your patience.

This is such a nice uptown downtown shopping area…read more There's the usual chain mall stores, some higher end shops too. Lots of great sport to eat at here, tried the Tupelo Honey Cafe today. It's lined with nice exterior buildings and shops, perfect spot to go for a stroll after lunch on a beautiful sunny day like today. They have lots of places to sit along the walkways. There are benches and rocking chairs scattered about. They have music playing as you walk to the different shops on all the sidewalks. Amplified through their outdoor speakers. There are even public restrooms mattered on the different streets. There's enough parking in the structures as well as on the street.

Built on what used to be the Myrtle Beach Airforce Base, it also plays host as a walking museum that spans multiple acres. The shops are more boutiques than big box stores but there are a few name brands mixed in like Anthropologie and Barnes and Noble Bookstore. Prices to shop here are a little on the pricier side and cater to certain niches (lots of dog owner stores and day spas). There are also a select number of restaurants, bars, and a movie theater so you can make an afternoon or evening out of your stay. We came for shopping, eating, and a movie on a couple evenings and had good date nights. The park system is very beautiful with multiple sports fields, an indoor gymnasium, outdoor lakes, and walking/running/biking trails. This place has a nice neighborhood feel that you don't find on Myrtle Beach's downtown strip. There is amble free parking and can be accessed easily by car or by walking on well lit sidewalks. Worth a visit just to explore the sites and read the informative placards of the aviation base that used to exist onsite.
