The event that I went to the layout was just really awkward. I'm sure it was supposed to give some sort of trendy warehouse vibe but to me it just gave a dirty unfinished cold industrial vibe. Also, the food was very sparse but that may have been one specific caterer and not the venues, not really sure. read more

This is a huge space in St Pete which is perfect for an art exhibit. There were multiple dark rooms full of videos and images of Banksy's work. We got the audio tour which added a nicely narrated interpretation although nobody really knows what Banksy was thinking. The crowd was full of young, old, parents, kids, couples and everyone who wanted to experience Banksy! Parking was limited but I managed to find a spot on the street only two blocks away. We totally enjoyed the experience and look forward to the next art exhibit, assuming they have one! Life is great with creative and unique art! read more

My husband and I have been here for comedy and beer events. The space is really cool and unique every time we come. We like how for their shows, they have bars with a variety of options. Know that the chairs at their shows are basic folding chairs and not the most comfortable; something to consider based on the type of event you're attending. Aside from that, it's a cool space and I'm glad they're offering different art, comedy, food & drink, etc. options. We will continue to check out their events! read more

It's an interesting flexible space. We went to the comedy show last night, which was tucked into a intimate space, which worked great for the small crowd. The comedian was Laura Peek. She was OK, but listen up, Coastal, feature the warm-up comedian next time - the tall, one with the long hair. He was much better! Could've listened to him all night! Gut-buster!! The fashion show was in a very awkward space with two rows of chairs jammed into either side of a long too/low runway. Not at all comfortable. But I give coastal creative credit for bringing interesting programs to downtown Saint Pete! read more

Went to a Mickey Avalon concert on 7/20/24. The concert itself was amazing. My issue is not with the artist perform but the venue itself and security or should I say lack there of. They had a roped off section for VIP, which the tickets were more expensive. You were only supposed to be let in this area if you had a red wrist band. That wasn't the case at all. Everyone was making their way into VIP whether they had a wrist band or not. The three people in the front of the stage directly in front of Mickey did not have wrist bands on and were blocking people that did from getting closer and enjoying the experience we paid extra for. There was no security to be seen to take care of this and no one checking to make sure that only VIP's were in the VIP. This is highly unprofessional and I don't believe I'll attend an event here again. read more

I didn't like the venue at all. Parking had to be found on the street, the seats were uncomfortable, the bar was open the entire show, and I could hear cans opening and people getting up and moving around getting drinks during the 1-hour show. The musicians deserve almost 5 stars. Very talented and excellent, even though they fumbled in the beginning, and in the middle to get their ipads/technology set up. Show started 20+ minutes late (Classic rock music played by a 4-piece ensemble: 2 violins, cello, viola). I won't go to another show at this venue, which felt like a warehouse with fold up picnic chairs. Price was twice the cost of what it should've been. read more

I literally cannot say enough good things about Coastal Creative. They are one of the great hidden gems in regards to St Pete event spaces as far as I am concerned. First of all, THE SPACE. It's pretty incredible. So many options & they have this interactive tool that allows you tour the space virtually & measure any portion of the space, at any time, from the comforts of your home. Ummm - game changer! Seriously, one of the best vendors I've worked with - hands down & I have worked with many in the St Pete area over the years. Every time I stopped by the space it had a completely different vibe. They host so many different types of events - it's really just such a cool spot! & the staff. They're just mad cool & so helpful & accommodating. The owner Zach initially helped me and then (the amazing) Makayla took it from there. She is legit the greatest. She really does it all. From start to finish, she was there to guide me through the process and she made sure we were set up for success. She helped manage the vendors & checked on me personally & professionally throughout the evening. She has this contagious, totally calm & chill vibe - even in the midst of a million things going on around her. She is a real asset in the event management space. Our party turned out amazing and I literally just can't say enough about Coastal Creative. Check them out for yourself. You will not be disappointed! read more
