I wasn't impressed by the front display when I first ventured past, but looking on further the appeal grew on me.
They appeared to me, as the name suggests, indicative of the sorts of trends and styles you see on the catwalks in London and is the sort of fashion I imagine the elite would wear along their shoddy coastline.
Slightly nautical, very sophisticated but not English Rose. The best way to describe the range of dresses, skirts and tops here is elegantly sexy I think. And casually cute, come to think of it.
Contrasting to the high-end European coastal look a range of Grecian/Trosian inspired, long white gowns caught my eye also. They were so ravishing you wouldn't look out of place wearing them as a beautiful bride, and at around $250 - $500 a hell of a lot cheaper than a bridal designed gown. They also have a range of long, satiny evening gowns, formal gowns and dresses for weddings and special outfits for bridal parties and the mother of the bride. These weren't really to my taste and were quite expensive, but as I said that is purely up to taste.
Coast London only has three stores in Australia and the one in Melbs has only just opened so you won't find details on the website on the store as yet - and fashions do differ slightly in store to the collection shown on the website.
Worth a look, I think. read more
