I would happily pay twice for a crown if with that crown I got the value of a doctor that truly cared about my child and helped me to make the best decision for her. Luckily that has not been my experience with this practice at all. They have been very flexible with me and the expensive dental work my daughter needs. They explained all charges UP front.... and gave me options and suggestions to make sure we were making the most informed decision we could. That is not something he had to do. They allowed him to take his time and explore the surroundings. He learned to operate the chair and equipment. Before I knew it, he was climbing up and allowing her to clean his teeth! I really cannot brag about this location and staff enough. This experience has been life changing for my son. I took plenty of photos with their permission, and I have added them to my son's AAC device. He keeps going to the page and talking about them all. I also had test recently requiring x-rays and didn't want to have any more done at that time. My appointment was with Kaitlyn but a new person who I didn't know said she was going to do my cleaning. I told her i DIDNOT want x-rays and I wanted Kaitlyn to do my cleaning. She left and came back and said they wouldn't do cleaning without x-rays. I went to front and told the office staff I wanted to see Dr. Smith and was very rudely told to go sit down which I did not do. Kaitlyn eventually comes out and said she will not clean my teeth without x-rays because it had been since 2021 when i had them last. I told her this is not true i had them last visit. I have receipt and cancelled check for last visit showing X-rays at home. I went ahead with X-rays and cleaning after telling Kaitlyn why I didn't want x-rays whiich seemed to me should have been my decision. It wasn't. I had appointment with my Dermatologist a few days later and told him about my dental visit. He said that it was very unprofessional as well as not necessary. They gave me several numbers to call which were Georgia Dental Association and American Dental Association which told me guide lines 2 to 3 years for adults my age. They also said someone should have ask WHY I preferred not to have x-rays. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated that day. I have already found another dentist and will never go back to Southern Rivers Dental. IN my opinion the whole staff needs to be more considerate of their patients as well as listening to the patients concerns.

I originally came to Newnan Dentistry because I was experiencing pain in one tooth. They treated that tooth, but I was then told that I needed treatment on approximately 10 other teeth. Since then, nearly every tooth they worked on has caused me pain. More than a year later, I am still dealing with tooth pain every single day. After spending over $15,000 here trying to address these issues, I simply cannot afford to continue paying for treatment elsewhere to correct the problems. I eventually went to another dental office for a consultation and was told that there were concerns with the dental work I had received, particularly my most recent root canal. I was also advised by Newnan Dentistry to have my wisdom teeth removed in hopes that it would resolve my pain. I had them removed, yet the pain continued. I now deal with constant tooth pain in my ENTIRE mouth and frequent headaches. While I will say that the customer service here has always been amazing, my experience with the actual dental treatment has been completely different. I genuinely feel as though I was used as a guinea pig for months while trying to figure out why I continued to hurt. I trusted this office with my dental care and spent thousands of dollars trying to get out of pain, only to still be suffering more than a year later. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Newnan Dentistry. This experience has caused me an incredible amount of pain, stress, and suffering that I continue to deal with every single day.

Small talk would go a long way and it seems they are just eager to go back to their conversations or ignore you completely if their once over of you is not to their liking. It is what the customer sees first and perceptions may not always be right, but they did nothing to dispel that.
