handy and convenient place to shop at lunchtime if you are in inverness. you also know that you are…read moreshopping in a coi-operative rather than simply another global phenomenon. co-op's best feature is all their fair trade items. they have probably the biggest selection of all the supermarkets and even have fair trade chocolate on sale at times co-ops tend not to be the trnediest places to shop and to be honest i don't much like their sandwiches but they have a gooad and wide range of things and you either do your weekly shop in here or since it is compact just pop in for a few bits after work

What's more is it is a co-op and so has members with a common mission of giving back to their community. It's wonderful to see these stores throughout Scotland. This particular store is tidy and organized and has a good selection of groceries. Don't miss it!

The best thing however about the shop is it is a paypoint, which you can buy meter tokens/ load the meter key or pay your rent here. I have used this little shop many times when my meter has gone out, its great for those elderly persons who don't want to travel far, they can go in and get the bare essentials needed. A small shop, but definately a great one. I'd be lost if it closed. The staff are friendly, and always chat away. Very frienldy.

And if there is anything your are needing they will do their best to help you find what you are looking for. The only thing that could be improved is that they only accept cash payments which means if you dont have any money on you then you have to go down the main high street.

The staff like talking to each other and sitting through the back ignoring the bell! They also often leave stock in the aisles making it a bit of an obstacle course to try to get to the counters. The shop sells everything from wine to bread and has a cashline machine at the front door. It also has a lottery machine.

A local institution, this store has not changed for many years - but in a good way!…read more The staff have more or less remained the same for years, from being a teenager wanting sweeties to popping in years later for a paper and some milk. Most importantly, the prices are not too bad for a convience store, and the staff tend to remember the same faces coming in, and are as friendly as they can possibly be.
