I do like the co-op as it's open late on a Sunday and has parking meaning that I can get my shopping when it is quiet. A well stocked store, though some times run out of bread but it has everything else you need. read more

It's open super early, like way before the roosters come out to cock-a-doodle-do. This place is not just good for basic off-licence needs. Their magazine selection is impressive. Their publication section takes up nearly a quarter of their shop and the titles that they carry range from basic Sun to highly stylish Tank. So, if you're on the go and you need to handle business, but you'd also like something good to read on the bus, this is the shop for you.

Are you staying near Excel? Do you want a convenience store? You have two options:…read more1. Whistlestop in the conference center. Be prepared for overpriced food, highly-variable (and unpredictable) hours, and the company of people wearing suits. 2. This place. It's not the best Tesco Express I've seen. They have a rather small selection of ready-to-go meals, and I think they only get one delivery of pastries per day. But they're open early, they're open late, and their prices are good, in spite of being the only food option for the numerous hotels and upscale residential developments that have gone up nearby. Go Tesco!
The word supermarket in this shops title is a little misleading. I would class it more as a…read moremini-mart or convenience store. It's a newsagents, an off licence and also stocks a number of food items such as bread, milk, tinned food and basics such as flour, cooking oil, and other cooking ingredients. To me as a forgetful person it has come to my rescue on many occasions as I'll realise that I have run out of something and will use Supersave as my first port of call to replace it. The shop also has the added convenience of being on the way to the train station from West Street so quickly grabbing a paper for the train journey, a sandwich for lunch or topping up my Oyster card is easy to do. If you happen to be traveling to work in the morning there is a recently established pastry section which sells croissants which are well worth checking out. Supersave's long opening hours also increase the convenience factor. Price wise you will not pay much different to the big supermarket chains. My only real complaint is the layout. The aisles are quite narrow and at times can be difficult to navigate which is not ideal for parents with prams.
