Went to lunch today and we were the only ones in there. This is the second time we have tried it and we are even less impressed than the first one. Family in Dilworth rave about the Co nearby, so we decided to try again. We ordered the pork and crab spring rolls - so brown and crispy they were almost burned and had absolutely no taste. The spicy crab rangoon was very good. I ordered the drunken noodles and they were very salty, bland and so dry they were gummy. My husband ordered the Thai Green Curry and it looked beautiful with grilled veggies over rice, but was also very salty and not very tasty. After a few bitres we asked for our check. Yama, around the corner, is always excellent. Vietnam Grille on South Blvd. is also great, but we won't be going back to CO. read more

CO is one of my favorite spots for sushi, but ONLY to go orders. I have had 3 separate occasions where we had to wait forever to even be acknowledged by a server. The last 2 times we sat at the table for 15 minutes before someone came over to ask if we had a server. One time the manager came to ask, and before I could even say my full response, she sporadically darted off from the table....as a manager, that is beyond unprofessional. I feel like there may be a disconnect between the hostesses and the servers not knowing which tables are theirs. The food is always amazing, but the service is very poor. I have been to both locations so many times that I have tried a lot of things on the menu. This place can get busy on the weekends so prep ahead of time, I don't think they take reservations. My favorite items on the menu are drunken noodles, com chien aka fried rice and the dumplings and the thai curry and basil chicken and the list is long. Oh and I forgot to mention the wings :) I am always up to go to eat at CO because it is one of the best places in CLT for Asian fusion food. This place was great! I just moved to charlotte so I can't compare it to many other places in town, but my ramen was very good. Flavorful, noodly, and I even had enough to take home extra. Food is good. Service is awful! We've been 4 or 5 times now, each time hoping that the service has improved, and each time we end up sitting there saying the same thing....where did our server go? What's taking so long? Some basic training in customer service would go a long way, from the hostesses to the servers. Updated to 1 star after dinner yesterday....floors were sticky. And 1 year old has had diarrhea all day. Husband was also not feeling well last night. Looked up their health score...90, and many violations of how food is stored. Not good. This is a mixed review. The bad: They forgot the steak in my Korean bowl. Manager was rude. Veggies in our mixed dishes were almost raw. I like al dente but these were just barely blanched. I stopped in last night to celebrate my birthday. There were only two of us, and when we approached the hostess, she was on her phone. We asked about the wait, and she quoted us 40 minutes. I gave her my information, and asked if she would be texting me when the table was ready. We were very happy to know this place was open during Covid. They were good about wearing a mask but sitting 6 feet apart was not a concept. I brought my parents with my husband and while the food was good there are not many vegetarian options. Our service was also poor. We ate our main course from small appetizer plates. We asked for silverware four times and finally got a fork (only). My husband got the basil chicken with double chicken and they put 3 pieces of chicken in it, when we asked them to fix it the chef said he's already included it and when the server went back to tell him he went back and got more chicken but also charged us twice for double chicken. Visited CO at Waverly for my birthday dinner for 4 people last night 1/12/19. Food, service and hostess seating were all good. Health score was 90 though. Vietnamese Ramen, Poke bowl, pad Thai and pho were ordered and all was delicious with large portions. I love the CO at the Park Road location but the Waverly location was still nice for a girls night or dinner. However I probably won't return until the health score improves. read more

We heard so many great things about this place, so we decided to go have dinner there tonight. WORST experience I've ever had. Hostess was really sweet, and sat us outside. We waited a while for a server. A guy came up to us and talked to us, took our appetizer order but told us our server should be with us soon. We waited about 20 mins, the assistant manager came and talked to us. We waited a little more, never got a server but other tables next to us were getting service. The assistant manager came back again and we had to ask him if we can place our order with him. Never got our appetizer that we put in with the other guy until our food came out. My boyfriend's ramen was cold. The couple that came maybe 20-30mins after us got their food the same time we got ours. So unnecessary to be waiting so long for our food. We stayed because i really wanted to try it. The assistant manager gave us 50% off but it looked like he was laughing to one of the servers once he went back inside. We had varied experience at CO. The ambiance of the place was lively. The drinks and bar were respectable. The staff and service were great. The food not so much. For appetizers we had the recommended Curry Shrimp which although a huge portion, not very tasty. The beef and kimchi dumplings too were bland. For the main course we had the Curry Laska and the Spicy Udon. The Curry Laska was the exact same Curry as the shrimp Curry, plus some more bland additions. The Udon noodles were full of onions and scallions barely enough sauce or meats. Since the place is still new, I'm willing to give it another try in a few months. read more

Great food and service. I was told to go for poke, and I went during dinner when they don't have the menu for that out. Once I asked the waitress, she said most people order that for lunch but happily brought us the menu to order.
