It now seems they're overcorrecting by making the program unnecessarily difficult, perhaps to improve their image. I'm taking NR507 (Advanced Pathophysiology), and the midterm was worded in a way that was incoherent--even though I hold an AA, ASN, and BSN. It felt like the test was intentionally confusing. The professor is a PharmD with little availability and poor communication. Her study guide and the test content did not align at all. There's also inconsistency in grading: prior cohorts received a 10%+ curve, but ours only received a 4% curve. This is unfair, especially when test design lacks clarity and support is minimal. Separately, due to offenses from over 20 years ago when I was a juvenile, Chamberlain told me I'd be subject to random drug testing and might not be able to sit for boards. I had to sign a waiver with no real guidance or advocacy. This feels discriminatory and poorly handled. Lastly, the financial aid department is unprofessional. I asked for clarification multiple times and stated I didn't understand the loan process. Despite this, they pushed papers in front of me to sign without providing proper explanations. The lack of transparency is alarming and feels predatory.

I am being forced to redo work and turn in assignments just to go to grad school when I have already received credit for the courses they are forcing me to take. I am unhappy but this is my last semester before attempting to get accepted for law school so I'm going to make it happen for my family.

I went here many years back and returned recently for Alumni Weekend after 20 years out of Atlanta…read more I'm glad to hear that they actually have changed for the better from students, classmates who got into in leadership roles and recall those bad old days too well, staff members and so forth. I attended a number of events and was thrilled to hear the President say they weren't trying to exclude and alienate conservatives from the community + still teach critical thinking skills (one of the positive aspects of my time there). Gone are the good ol' boys and now diversity (including being a first generation student) actually seems to be considered and appreciated where that wasn't my experience. The bad old days were so bad I had nothing to do with the school for about 10 years due to the presence and protection towards a group I found loathsome (and would be completely inappropriate in our modern times just as it was 20 years ago). Since my most recent visit, I can say with pride that I went to this school and am proud of my classmates for stepping up and being change so others don't have to go through what I'm sure some of them did.

I got the AHA certification instantly upon completion. Best thing was I scheduled my session at 7:30 pm in the evening. Really liked the flexibility in scheduling my certification.
