This is where you can find good quality second hand items, ranging from books and DVDs, to clothes, linens and even furniture. All the staff are very helpful and friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. They once even delivered a computer desk to my house as I had no transport. Last year was the 20th anniversary of the Kirkwood Hospice, and the shop sold many small special items such as trolley discs and shopping bags to help publicise the fact.

The vinyl selection is particularly, um, interesting - very little rhyme or reason to it, but apply enough dedication to your search and you're almost guaranteed to come up with something fascinating for under a quid. The clothing also is set at 'old-style' charity shop prices - kit yourself out for an interview or night out for under a fiver. Who could ask for more? Not me: I've patronised the place many a time, and I'll be back again too.

They kept the machine outside and just brought the hoses in and it all seemed to be done with a minimum fuss. All of the stains came out apart from one tiny one and the dirt that came out was shocking to be honest. The carpet had a very nice fragrance after, like a lavender smell and the upholstery looked miles better after cleaning. I will be using them again for sure and may even treat my self to a carpet clean again before Christmas.
