There's nothing worse than being sick and having to sit in a room full of other sick people. It's hard not to complain about a medical centre. It's kind of like visiting a bank. You usually put it off as long as possible, and always dread the experience.
The front-desk service at Concord Medical Centre is actually extremely friendly and efficient. But the pleasantries end here.
This medical centre is obviously a popular one, because it is ALWAYS busy. Expect to wait at least half an hour (and that's being optimistic) before you see a doctor. While you wait, why not sit back and enjoy the awful midday television groaning from the wall, and the five-year-old copy of Woman's Day (I shudder to think how many sick hands that magazine has passed through). Or, if you're feeling especially delirious, take a leisurely skip through the millions of tiny germs the thoughtful patrons in the waiting room have shared with you.
