I've been to a few distilleries in my time but this one is about the friendliest I've been to. A modern distillery (built in the late 1960s) on the same campus as the earlier and now closed Clynelish (briefly known as Brora) distillery, a selection of fine drams are to be found here. It's handy if you're on the A9 and that far north but a bit out of the way if you aren't touching Scotland's extremities but well worth the visit nonetheless. read more
