Nice place to visit if in the area. Not worth travelling to unless its part of a whole day out. Clun is a nice little village (the map is wrong - it shows middle of Ludlow!) with a proper carpark & toilets by the river. Clun Castle is on the A488 18 miles West of Ludlow. Not a good one if you dont like walking. There is a steep hill to walk up. So not suitable for pushchairs or wheel chairs. Also not much to see as there isnt much left of the castle. We went in the summer with the dog who seemed to enjoy it. read more
