It's very much a pub for the older locals but the drinks and prices aren't too bad. They have a pool table and also a dartboard and often advertise theme nights including music and BBQ's . Its not the place you will normally find me, and I barely see many students or young professional drinking there. But it always seem very busy during the evenings with many a body blocking the entry for a smoke.

Dry dock's a little close to Leicester Uni so you get the student crowd rolling through, but that also means that there's good deals on drinks! Its a chill pub with a few pool tables to fuck around on, with some soft couches that look a little overly new age. But who cares, throw down a few pints and enjoy your time in this boat. Hopefully you come out feeling that the boat is rocking! Its a great place for chill drink and a mellow time with some mates!

They have plenty of umbrellas and heaters too. We went last night (Monday) and there was a quiz on which seems to have drawn the crowds. Standard yellow pub food menu, good deals on standard stuff like beer and a burger. Slightly mardy staff, but otherwise quite a cosy little atmosphere.

The play equipment is relatively small for these types of places but the children can still while away a couple of hours. Tea and coffee and refreshments available in the wacky warehouse place, as usual in this sort of place it is vastly overpriced. The food in the pub/restaurant is standard pub fayre and not particularly good unless it's frozen nuggets and chips you desire. I would say that in the wacky warehouse they play MTV excrutiatingly and deafeningly loud so you can't have a conversation over it and come out with a banging headache! God knows why they do this, even when there are only a couple of parents with babies in there they still crank it up. Weighing up the pros and cons of going here vs going to Bumpi's across the road I would say that the only positive is that it is smaller so in some ways does your head in a little less, whereas Bumpi's is massive and very loud and more expensive to get into. Them's your choices ladies and gentlemen. the wonderful world of being a parent in a rainy country.
