They send texts and cards asking how pets are doing, they treat people with the utmost respect, and they are just so nice. When we first started coming here, it was fantastic. The staff were attentive, and both my pets and I always felt comfortable walking through the door. Unfortunately, over the past year or so, things have really gone downhill -- it seems to line up with when the practice switched to a new system. The front desk/admin team specifically has become a consistent problem. They rarely seem to know what's going on, and I've been asked basic questions (like whether my pets are on any medication) that should be right there in the chart before we even start talking. On more than one occasion, staff have mis-gendered my pet -- which is a pretty simple thing to double check. Beyond that, I've had to follow up multiple times just to get test results or other updates that should have been communicated proactively. I've also been billed for services that were never actually performed. Wait times have gotten progressively longer with each visit, and the cleanliness of the facility has noticeably declined. More than once, it seems like the team simply forgot I was there -- either waiting for discharge or waiting to be checked out of an exam room. To be clear, the veterinarians themselves are wonderful. They remember my pets, clearly care about their wellbeing, and I have no complaints about the actual medical care. But the surrounding administrative and operational issues have made it hard to trust the practice as a whole, and I don't feel confident continuing to bring my pets here. I'll be looking for a new vet, which is disappointing given how good things used to be.

Believe me when I tell you I have a problem child so when she is notified that I called with an issue she gets me in ASAP. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. I just can't say enough nice things about this clinic. My problem child ate a shirt and the doctor and staff hung out with her all day trying to make her throw it up. When I got there they were all sitting on the floor around her petting and trying to comfort her. I don't know about you but that shows such compassion and dedication. Unfortunately my problem child decided to throw it up while in the car on the way home but at least no surgery. If you are looking for a family doctor because let's face it our animals are family then I would definitely check out this clinic.

Dr. Sokoloft is wonderful as is her office staff! This is about the grooming that just opened in June at the back of the clinic...a groomer who is very experienced. First of all, no prices posted anywhere on cost. I did call and was given a guesstimate of 35.00-45.00, which was a tad on the high end for a small dog, bath and shave, no specialty cut but acceptable. However thought I'd try her. When I Went in, I mentioned I'd been told 35.00-45.00 per dog (two shih tzus) and she responded no, that's only for a bath.....the charge for bath and grooming was 50.00-60.00....35.00-45.00 for a BATH, really?.....of course I was stunned and told her since I had the appt. I would go ahead and honor of and get them groomed but this would be a one time thing.. Their groom was hit and miss..sparky had skin showing, two big places, on each side of his neck, hidden by the scarf around his neck, shave was uneven on both dogs with long and short spots. Told her shaved but also not so short skin showed because of sunburn and general discomfort, clean face, feet, nails dremeled, just normal stuff you usually get with a cut....I First mistake with me: If I was quoted a price, she should have honored it for this one time...most groomers would. Second, the ugly bare spots on sparky should have been pointed out. Third, her bad for not realizing this is not Midwood , Southpark or Balantyne.....prices should reflect area.. She will have difficulty building clientele from this area because of her prices and sooner or later the client base that followed her will shrink if for no other reason, too far away or moving away, etc. As for me, I'll go back to my old groomer who does a great job and fixes errors, alerts me if an accident and charged a reasonable price.. .I thought it would be very convenient to get my dogs exam or whatever at the vet, then have them groomed at the same place. Lesson learned!

Doctor Gold came in and was very pleasant. They recorded the exam verbally after getting my permission. I think this is great as everything gets noted. Smoky took the exam and rabies shot without any issues. He enjoyed his visit and had to issues later. We will both be back next year to do it all over again. Lol

I called into the office early in the week to schedule an appointment for Leo and my granddog, Coco Chanel. I was greeted warmly by Mrs. Lisa who was absolutely friendly and professional over the phone. I can't just make an appointment like a regular customer I basically needed a personal assistant to call Leo's previous vet to get his shot record and to detach my granddog from my account and add her to my daughter's account for billing purposes. I was thrilled to know that Clearcreek uses the Cherry app that can be used as credit. Not only did I tell Lisa that I would call right back it took me two days to follow up. Nevertheless, she was still warm and bubbly over the phone when I called back. I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa and Melissa at the appointment that was scheduled for Friday. All of the front desk ladies were sweet and welcoming. Lisa is a rockstar in real life! I'm extremely appreciative of the level of customer service that I received in person and over the phone. I have switched Leo's vet back to Clearcreek now, and although they don't offer boarding a new company is managing the boarding services at their location. I think overall they provide great care and they always seem to know my dog when I bring him in. I did have one of the vets tell me my dog needed a tooth extracted so I had his teeth cleaned to get the extraction done, but another vet performed the cleaning and said they did not need to do an extraction so I wonder if I ended up doing a cleaning before it was actually needed. Overall though I would recommend this vet.

Our oldest miniature schnauzer was in a very crucial point in his life, he was in a severe pancreatitis attack. We were transferred from his regular vet to here since he needed to be watched overnight. When we arrived our regular vet had send over his bloodwork exams results along with his history, as soon as I walked in with our dog and my newborn daughter they took him in. Dr. George asked a couple of questions and immediately took our baby to the back. Within 20 minutes Dr. George asked me to walk back to the radiology room, here was my baby laying down. Dr. George proceed to explain that something did not seem to add up, he follow his intuition and found a 3cm mass in his belly. Of course the news were devastating, but the whole staff were very caring and sympathetic on times like this. They get that every animal was walks into to their hospital is someone's family member. After a long conversation and plan of action, Dr. George asked for our budget to treat our boy and he respected our budget since we just had our daughter. Thanks to Dr. George and the whole staff our baby is here with us. He stayed overnight for 3 nights and Dr. George took care of him. Called to give us updates on our baby. This is a FAMILY place with reasonable prices and the best care a someone can ask for their pet.

They don't run tests that they are suppose to do, and then they don't tell you tell you. The manager kept telling me it would get better and asked me to give them another chance but I have had it. This last time they put my dog under for teeth cleaning and they were suppose to get bloodwork done at the same time. And they didn't do it.... Or they may have "forgotten" to update her chart, they aren't sure so now I can't get more heartworm medicine until we sedate her again. Beyond disappointed with how this place has changed.

They even sent me a sympathy card, signed with a personal note by every staff member and doctor, when I messaged them about one of my dogs being euthanized at another vet. They went for a check…read moreup right after I got them because one kitten was scratching at his neck and I could see a mark. Dr. Jodi Werfal figured out that a Botfly larvae was in his neck - and removed it! We certainly weren't expecting that! I thought she did a great job - that isn't the first time she has figured out som like that that others didn't! Since that - I found homes for 3 of them - and just took the other 2 kittens that I decided to keep (Frisco and Tortellini) for their first kitten vaccinations yesterday. Everyone at New Hope Vet is welcoming and knowledgeable - I really recommend them!
