I was a wreck the morning I dropped her off to be spayed. The staff at White Rose really did make me feel much more relaxed and confident. I hated, HATED leaving her, but I had no doubt I was leaving her in good hands. It is important to show compassion and care when working in this sort of field. White Rose does it well and I never felt like they were pushing ALL the services on me that so many other vets have in the past.

The last time I dealt with this group was over a decade ago in the Charlotte location with my…read morepurebred Shiba Inu. They did nothing but tell me he had glaucoma and take my money. He went blind. It was a 100$ deposit then. I swore I would never go to them again. In 2018 or so another dog of mine had a similar injury and I had him seen after hours at Urgent Vet in Ft Mill. He recovered nicely and kept his sight. So last night I tried to go back to Urgent Vet and have my Collie seen but they had another dog in front and told me to go to CVS to get hom stabilized as he was losing fluids . I didn't know they had opened a location in Rock Hill. It is very hidden back off Dave Lyle. So I called for directions from Target. The girl answering the phone seemed annoyed when I told her I couldn't find them. Mind you, this was about 9:30pm. When I get there she is behind the desk on the computer and or her cell acting as if I am interrupting her. My dog was bleeding and wrapped in a blanket in my arms. Dead weight and breathing hard. Noone offered to even open the door. I observed a stretcher to the left in the door entrance but my hands were full obviously. Not to mention I am trying to emotionally hold myself together. That receptionist did absolutely nothing. Not even call for assistance. Again, it appeared all about money. They took the 200$ deposit, I told them I suspected a blockage of some sort. At least 40 minutes went by and the Dr. comes in basically regurgitates what I told them I suspected as their diagnosis. No x-rays, no bloodwork, no tests of any kind. Just visual and manual observations. According to the invoice they gave him glucose, hydromorphone fluids pcv...$373.90. They probably googled the symptoms simultaneously telling me that they need 3-4 grand. According ordinary to the tech they had not even stabilized him. They ask me if I called poison control & gave me number. Dr. wanted to keep him overnight, I asked for a breakdown of charges. Basically, it was going to be 3-4 grand just to 'explore' with no guarantee he would survive. Suggested euthanasia. The doctor said I was rude because I wanted a breakdown of the charges, prognosis... Plus my tone was reflecting how disrespected I felt by the intake person who was snippy dense and uninterested and focused on her phone? So much so she didn't seem to know what a pecan was? I am the one paying as in customer, I am the one who should be shown r-e-s-p-e-c-t. I said I would take him to the primary vet in the morning. They basically covered their asses by having me sign a waiver that he may pass in 24-48 hours. More concerned about liability and image than you or your pet. I was going to wait to see a real vet Saturday morning if he survived the night. He did not. Rock Hill just seems to attract these chains, franchise businesses of all sorts who only care about the bottom line. And then they are referred by the locals for after hours care. A good, CAPABLE, Professional, reputable vet should think twice about doing that. They are capitalizing on the short supply of just that. So it seems Urgent Vet, Petfolks and Healthy Pets are the only good choices. Btw, no need to contact me CVS. This was my experience and my opinion. Either do better or deal with the consequences. That is known as accountability. I hope noone else has to endure such callous treatment.

If I can prevent anybody from witnessing what eyewitnessed December 8th 2025 I'm hoping this review…read morecan do that... The morning of December 8th I brought Felix a cat that I been nurturing since October a little cat that I found outside that I bought a little house for at PetSmart put it in my breezeway where he lived for 2 months .. With Halloween around the corner I was concerned because I was taking care of little Felix and a friend of his which I fed everyday and still do but doesn't hang around like Felix did so I brought Felix in and put him in the side bathroom... When my other cat Sammy who is 15 would be sleeping in another room I would bring Felix in the den and play what a good cat ...I've decided to then call top gun my veterinarian to have him neutered and vaccinated this is a little cat that I brushed cleaned his eyes and nurtured from a little kitten that was outside He wasn't considered feral!!! That evening before I brought him to be neutered I said Daddy's going to take you tomorrow morning and we're going to get you fixed and you'll be meeting your older sister this little guy was so thankful to be in and warm and saved The morning of the 8th got up cleaned his little box that was in the tub in the bathroom he was using Fed him He scratched his little scratching pole climbed it looked up at me like I was the biggest savior! I brought Little Felix into top gun veterinarian the girls at the office couldn't believe how chill he was That's an exact quote as I took him out of his carrier show him off, They assured me things would be fine they would call me around 11:30 12:00 remember I know they take lunch from 12:00 to 1:00... I get a call a little after 1:00 to pick up your little Felix everything went well and he's great takes me 25 minutes to get there I paid the girl at the desk Andy came out with Felix I unzipped the carrier look down Felix was on his back eyes were bulging as far as they could go wide open glazed over eyelids will blue and white paws stretched out extracted and he was choking Little foam in the mouth it was obvious he was no longer mentally there and he was choking for a long time They said oh my god he's having a allergic reaction? I said oh my God and they rushed him in the back me not knowing at the time That being on his back was a death sentence!!! He wasn't monitored They couldn't have even looked at him when they called me He was choking for a while a long while... They worked on him in the back and told me that they felt he was brain damaged Of course he hadn't received oxygen for a while quite a while He was on his back choking on vomit and phlegm while he was under anesthesia probably never came out of it properly it's devastating it's horrific!! I had the owner call me because the vet didn't know what to say when she called cuz she could not disagree with me that he choked and then it was not a allergic reaction to the anesthesia He was on his back!! The owner said to me these things happen with a feral cats were afraid to put our hands In carriers they might bite us ?I said this was a cat I nurtured from a kitten He wasn't feral he was brushed hugged and loved!! She's side and said what would you like me to do?? All I know is that this little guy trusted me and I am devastated I feel like I've done something terribly wrong by even bringing him to be neutered it's an awful feeling awful feeling .. mind you this carry was a very nice carrier with a top that zipped all the way around inside I put a small blanket that Felix would sleep on inside his little house to make him comfortable.. if you remember December 8th was a very cold rainy day, if they felt that The blanket would jeopardize him coming out of anesthesia properly they should have removed it ,They didn't say that I'm thinking if he was on his back how did he turn over how could he turn over that poor guy suffered and it breaks my heart
