mostly never answers phone, messages left and no return calls. When answered, questionable conversations had. Schedules in house services and fails to show up. In shop repairs are questionable. products come back saying repaired and still do not work any better then when sent. I have been going to this business since the mid-1990s and I have many clocks. They do great work. The owner and staff know me and are friendly. Don't expect your clock to be repaired in 20 minutes. Many clocks are complex. Or are very old. Good things come to those who wait. This business is like a mom-and-pop place, not the local fast-food place. This place is less expensive than some of the other places I have compared. Some of those other places are creepy and lie as I know what things cost. read more

Took a watch in to have a scratch in the crystal buffed out. They are only open on Friday because of Covid. I live across town. I went in when they told me it was done. Get there at 12 pm and they tell me the watch is done but won't be there until 2pm. I go back two weeks later and have to wait in line while the service person talks to the customer ahead of me about how bad President Trump was. When it was finally my turn, they couldn't find the watch. The service is pretty much a cluster mess. I won't go back. read more

Very poor customer service. Has had our clock since March 23 and can't get an honest or straight forward answer on the status of our clock. (It is almost January) Starting to wonder if they haven't lost it. Very difficult to get a hold of anyone. read more

Terrible customer service, rude employees, and inconvenient hours is the best way to describe this business. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere more reputable!! I brought in a watch for a battery change and while attempting to change the battery the employee damaged the face of my watch and couldn't fix it. He informed me he'd need to have his 'watch guy' look at it and I'd have to pick up my watch later. While his guy had it (yes, he takes the watches to his house to fix them) I was contacted and told my watch did not need a new battery, but instead needed a new motor (unlikely with a four year old watch). I declined the service and asked for my watch to be returned to the store. When I went back to the store to pick it up the face of the watch was still damaged. I pointed this out (to the man that broke it) he told me he'd have to have his 'watch guy' fix it - which was what was supposed to happen in the first place! I explained my frustration to the employee (who might have been the owner) and he became defensive and refused to listen to my concerns. Then he told me to take my watch and never return. Yes, I was banned from the Clock Place for expecting them to fix a watch that they broke. read more

I had two pocket watches repaired here. Good prices, good work, and fast turn-around time. Had both of them back within a week. Also enjoyed my conversations about timepieces with the people who work there. If you like old clocks you'll love the place. There are quite a few on display for sale. read more
