I often have it done at some small watch repair stalls that I'd encounter somewhere, but I'm also a steady customer at Three S Gift Shop at Farmer's Plaza. There are a number of similar establishments in the building, but I've always felt a little more welcome there as the staff are a little more attentive and responsive to your needs. They've whole racks of straps there which won't necessarily empty your wallet, and good different kinds at that. I've always felt like the straps I've seen at the bigger, more expensive places (whichever those are) look too cumbersome for my taste. Are they genuine leather? Ask them that. Really all I care about is that it looks nice on my tiny wrists. They sell and repair various watches and clocks too, of course. While I have a preference to avoid bling with a humble leather watch, I'm quite taken with and I just might by this rose gold Casio number they have on display. There's always a booth that sells cheap, discounted watches by the hallway too, so if you're itching for some cheap timekeeper to up your wardrobe, drop by and have a look.

I find it very convenient that I can book trips on Cebu Pacific without having to use a credit…read morecard. I don't like accumulating debt, so I always pay cash whenever I need to book tickets. For my birthday trip, I booked very cheap return airline tickets through the Cebu Pacific website, and I am glad that they thought of the option of paying through payment centers like Cebuana Lhuillier. My previous option was to pay via BDO's payments function, but I was afraid my booking would be cancelled if I didn't pay within 24 hours of reserving the booking. Good thing Cebuana Lhuiller's branch over at Philcoa was very helpful and accommodating. They were patient enough in handling my transaction though I messed up the booking numbers on the form twice. The service was prompt because they knew I was in a hurry to get to class. If you ever need to book tickets, know that there is this option that you can go for instead of going for credit. Thanks, Cebuana Lhuillier!

For instance, they tackled time management within the context of a person's current circumstances and in view of her goals leading up to the future. The speakers emphasized the idea of always getting up from failures as the latter will only serve as stepping stone for better things to come. Correct mindset is the start of growing some grit and grace. We all came out inspired by the entire conference.
What makes this place different from all the other laundry shops in the area?…read more The smell of your clothes. I have no idea what laundry soap they use to make the clothes that are laundered here smell this good. I just know they make it smell good and the smell stays on even while you're wearing the clothes. I wish I knew how to wash clothes like they do. Sometimes, when I'm too lazy to pick the clothes up, I just give them a call and they bring the clothes to my house. And when I'm extra lazy and can't take the clothes to them, they pick it up from the house. Laundry Post, stop spoiling me. I need to learn how to do my own laundry.
Listen up, college kids…read more At some point, you will have to go through the process of writing your own thesis or research paper (the list goes on, but you get what I mean). During this process, you will go through countless pages of drafts and rejected chapters, and printing at home with your original and painfully expensive printer ink will seriously dent your budget, and by that, I mean your parents' budget. You will find that print shops like iPrint will save your life, but not necessarily the trees in the forest. I don't know why teachers still require printed thesis drafts, but in case your backward teachers still refuse to go paperless, at least you know where to go to print out ythe paper that you painstakingly researched (or casually plagiarized, let's be honest. Fun fact: If you get caught, you will fail your class). iPrint is so convenient. Just head down to UMall near La Salle, wait for your turn, and give your USB to the manong or manang and point to the file that you wish to print out. You should know by now that you should have a spare USB for your printing needs, one that you don't use as your principal file storage devise - so that you can easily wipe it out and reformat it so that you don't carry computer viruses around from plugging it into iPrint's computers.

I rarely get to gather enough materials from buying in bookstores and since it's not bought by the bulk, I don't get a discount. When I do get in touch with large-scale production companies on the other hand, they don't mind me because they have such high minimum quantity for orders. This is what I love about Veco. They don't have a ridiculous minimum order for as long as you head to their office, which is conveniently located in Pasay near Buendia. I usually call in advance to find out if the items I need are in stock. When I get confirmation from them, that's when I go to make my purchase. I find it so convenient and the staff is very friendly. I like them so much I may as well put them on my speed dial.

Though Paolo's charges higher than my usual go-to place for printing (P3 per page for black-ink printing as opposed to the usual P1-per-page printing I get), it's really the convenience I pay for. Paolo's is on the way when I commute to the main road. And it doesn't get crowded unlike the usual Internet shop I go to for printing, which can be full of students as it's near the University of Perpetual Help. I also get some of my photos printed here, especially when I'm giving them as gifts and when I'm in a hurry. Again, the price is higher than you would find in malls, but I would recommend this for people living near the street intersection of Lennox Annie Black and Lalaine Bennet in BF Resort . The quality of the photo print is good, too. And, during my first time to have my photos printed, the owner even re-sized my photos in the computer, after recommending printed photo sizes and the corresponding digital dimensions. The photos turned out great. The owner really knows his stuff.

A place this nice generated a swirl of rumors among attendees: They say it costs 1.5M pesos to join, and only members have access. They say you're no really standing across the Makati fire station, and you've really been transported to a floating edifice floating across the Atlantic. They say the paper towel dispensers are robots, and dispenses paper towels when it deems you worthy (trick protocol: second law of robotics clearly state that you can loudly demand for the paper towel). The coolest pat about this place, however, is that there seems to be so many things to see and do, and more importantly, eat at. But what really caught my attention was the kendo lessons. It's not some kendo club that had nowhere to meet up, and had no other recourse but an exclusive club gym (this makes for a great gag anime setup, too), they actually have the armor and a shinai in display, daring you to go and ask (where you get whupped by the members only part. Remember, 1.5M). the facilities are nice too, the seminar hall was roomy and posh, even if the food wasn't really anything special. All said, if you find yourself somehow being granted access here, take pictures, and loudly demand for a paper towel from the dispenser. EDIT: They now apparently accept non-members, so that explains why they let me in. HA!
