As we were going at close of season, we almost had the site to ourselves! There is also a shop on the grounds that has almost everything you could need if you've found you left something behind. Plenty of showers and toilets and a refrigerator to store items like freezer packs and the odd bottle of champagne. And for those who like to fish (not us) they have fishing on site. And for those who don't like camping in a tent, they have a few old gypsy caravans available for hire.

It's a great place, we stayed in the 1st floor of the little apartments, mystique I think it's called. It's good enough to sleep in and make basic meals, but then you don't come here to sit in allot or make a roast dinner for 6. Evening entertainment kept my three year old more then happy, dancing with the other children and meeting the characters here. Loads of game machines and amusements to play on and collect your tickets for a prize. Beside the bar a good sized park for kids with a pay as you play race track for the little ones. A small soft play near to reception also with an indoor swimming pool. Spar shop is 5 minutes drive one way, 5 minutes the their way and you are at the beach. Worth a go, we have enjoyed ourselves.

As it was late in the season alot of the entertainment, shops were shut so we just used it as a base and travelled into Great Yarmouth most days but the park was clean and tidy and well kept.

We have stayed a couple of times at this site and have not been disappointed on either occasion. We…read morehave taken our tent and had a standard pitch (not a deluxe one with electric hook-up). There are just over a hundred pitches and we have never found noise to be a problem on this site. It is very sheltered and peaceful and it never feels cramped. The site is well run by helpful and friendly staff and the toilet and shower blocks are of a very high standard and kept extremely clean. There are a couple of family/disabled shower rooms too which is useful if you have small children. There are decent laundry and washing-up facilities and a well-stocked on-site shop for any essentials you may have forgotten. They also have book and magazines you can borrow during your stay. There is a small children's play area which has got one of those giant swings, a sandpit and climbing frame with slide. There is also a well-stocked fishing lake although we have not used this. Some lovely woodland walks surround the site too. I highly recommend a stay on this site (but not when we want to go of course!). It is also within easy access of the North Norfolk coast and is a good base for exploring this delightful part of the country.

Nothing much on-site, just shower blocks, laundry/wash-up facilities and kids playgrounds, but peaceful location with sea views makes up for it. Plenty to do nearby anyway. Shopping-wise, Cromer's big enough to have just about everything including a cinema, and an Argos if you've forgotten your tent. Hints: go to Holt for smart shops, Cley Next the Sea for a fantastic picnic [fish from the Smokery and other bits from the deli], Morston Quay for boat trips to see the seals, and Overstrand for a sandy strip accessible even when the tide's in!

The evening entertainment is excellent too but you always have to arrive early to get a seat otherwise your left standing. They have both and indoor and outdoor swimming pool, arcade, crazy golf and park for kids to play in. It's really cheap holidays too for what you get there. Would recommend for a good cheap holiday if you book last minuted
