However, they don't, so I stop here for really beautiful cards. So why only three stars... sometimes the really nice cards are super expensive. In fact in one case, I did not have enough cash, so I got out my... wait for it... non-chip and pin card. At first things seemed to be going ok, but then the card was declined. So she asked if she could run it again, but she threw away the receipts. I didn't think anything of this because in the past, when this has happened, I was only charged once. This time I was charged twice! When I asked if they could refund one of those charges they said they needed the receipt from one of the charges. I explained that the staff member had thrown them away and not given them to me. And I was told that they couldn't do anything about it then. So, the next time someone says they'll just throw away the receipts... insist that you keep them. Lesson learned!

They have a lovely selection of sizes, materials and colours of Imps- it's really hard to choose! Each Imp is hand made and painted, so hence why they are moderately priced! I went in to get Christmas gifts for a friend, but honestly I love my selection so much, they will now get another choice of Imp- hopefully I won't find another set equally as beautiful!

You can always find what you want as the range is very extensive. The sweets and drinks are slightly higher then your average price though, although they do tend to have special offers such as 4 bars for a £1. It can get quite busy in here on market days and the space is quite tight to move, but the staff are friendly and helpful and service is usually quite swift.

Card Warehouse often have other knick-knacky bits and pieces that can be picked up at good prices. They've never let me down and their cards are as good quality as any that you can find for three times the price elsewhere! The only drawback I've ever found is that wrapping paper can be a little on the thin side so it is usual to have to use twice as much to keep the surprise hidden, which is quite pointless as a money saving task! Having said that, I venture here often and would recommend that others check it out!
