This is our second time at this hospital, the first for a broken arm and the second for a possible…read morebroken foot. The hospital is a small community hospital with one doctor. When we were there 3 ambulances had arrived with people in them. I found the hospital the admitting nurse to be harsh, and unfriendly despite my concerns about my son's foot. She was more worried about his type 1 diabetes that we are in control of and have excellent doctors for. The medicine I put on his foot was said to be wrong and that I risked infection. The doctor afterwards said that that was not the case and we are good. I would not recommend this hospital for kids, drive 30 more minutes to Saintes. For all future visits, we will be going there. The 2 stars are for the wonderful radiologist that we saw. She was friendly and treated my son with respect. Thank you.
