I bought a lens from kamerahuset.dk online but payment would be at the shop. They had a campaign…read morefor some lenses for giving 750kr cashback. When I buy it online, it was shown a 1500kr discount for the final price. I called and I asked about this discount and also I asked how the cashback campaign works. They said the final amount is the one shown in the online shop and after your purchase, you will register your product on the producer page and they will send you back the money and it can take 2-3 weeks. So I thought these two are different discounts. I waited for the product for 4-5 days.
When I went to the shop to pick it up the item, they said there was a problem with their online shop and it showed the discount wrongly. I said I called you 2-3 times and once I asked you about especially this issue and no one told something about it.
The real problem started when one of the employees called his "boss" to talk to me. I explained to him the issue again, and I said why you didn't tell me this issue on the phone because I had a chance to go for another product. He started to talk vulgarly and he blamed me that I'm trying to trick them. He even didn't say sorry and continued to speak aggressively. Several times I said I didn't know your system is broken and he said "you definitely knew and you are trying to trick me". This guy is the worst employee that I've ever seen in this country, he doesn't know how to communicate with the customer and blames people. There was nothing to take it personally.
I stopped discussing with him and I bought the lens. They offered a basic filter as compensation for the issue but I refused it because the problem was no longer about their broken online system, there is no compensation for attacking people personally.
