This is one of the best charity shops on the city! It's great! It's like a jumble sale, but with…read morethings you would actually want. On the summer days, like today, they put boxes and racks of stock outside the front of the shop; making it feel like a garage sale. I challenge anyone to walk past on a day like today and not be forced to stop and have a look at the piles of stuff. It's a large charity shop as far as they go, with a huge variety of bits & pieces, like cameras and electronic goods to clothes, furniture and books. I already found a great old cannon camera I'm thinking about going back for tomorrow. The staff I met were all very young and will help you look for things that you can't find on the shop floor. They will also go and check the mountains of donations in the back room for you as well.

The shop has the most colourful display window I have ever seen and a mountain of cuddly toys at the front of the shop ensures that mothers will be dragged in by their children. Most charity shops have racks of clothes to browse but this charity shop makes the whole process so much easier. The shop is divided into colours -an orange rack, a green rack, a yellow rack etc. Shirts, trousers, skirts and dresses of the same colour are held together which is extremely useful, especially if looking for a particular colour for fancy dress or for a top to match your new shoes. I definitely recommend this brilliant rainbow shop!

I love their second hand books because many of them come straight from the humanities students at the St Matt's UWE campus, so they're top quality and nearly new. You'll find Shakespeare tucked behind the rows and rows of granny coats! Also, the feelgood factor always kicks in when you purchase a vintage handbag or a tea towel from the well organised little shop, as you're helping to keep the hospices going. Guilt-free shopping, I love it.

They sell clothing, jewellery, toys & games, videos, DVDs, books, bric a brac as well as collectibles and the occasional small electrical goods and small furniture items. The staff are friendly and cheery, and there is a changing room to try on clothes. Look for the seasonal items on display at the appropriate times of the year. The proceeds and donations help support the 2 hospices set up to help terminally ill patients and their families.

If that wasn't off-the-hook enough they've constructed a sort of front-to-back rail for all their clothes thus converting the whole shop into two mega aisles. It's harder perhaps to find the bargains you want this way but it's much more fun, and very different. The rebels.

For example little signs on the roof mark out what is in what aisle. The men's range, once you locate it, is a decent assortment of really quite good clothing. I've bought many good shirts from these guys as well as a few nice hats. The rest of the stock is similar; easy to find and good quality. Little more you could ask for really.

I went there looking for some light natural trousers for an up and coming holiday and came away with a 100% cotton pair from M&S that looked brand new and a linen pair and only spent £3.98!!! So all you other charity shops out there with your fancy layouts and store windows, take a leaf out if Barnardos book. It may be like a jumble sale in there but it's cheap and that's what I want from a Charity shop!
