Prior to the day of our photoshoot, Joanna walked us through details to help us understand what to expect, while listening to our ideas of what we were hoping to capture from the photoshoot as well. She helped us design our coordinating outfits, (as I didn't realize so much goes into that!), and we discussed the "day of" expectations. It was helpful for me, as I am a detail person, and wanted to be absolutely prepared for my husband, young son, and I. On the day of our photoshoot, we were excited, and I have to admit I was a bit nervous, but the moment we stepped foot in Joanna's studio we really felt like stars.
