Visited around 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2026, looking for a table for three with no reservation. There were three empty tables inside and at least five empty tables outside. Since many restaurants in the area prefer reservations, I expected there might be a short wait. A younger hostess initially said she would check availability. About three minutes later, a manager-looking middle-aged man came over. They spoke in Spanish. While I don't speak Spanish, I distinctly heard something along the lines of "No Chino." The hostess then told us there was no availability for the day. I'm not accusing the restaurant of refusing service based on race -- I can't be 100% certain of what was said. However, the restaurant is open from 10 AM to 9 PM, and they simply turned us away without offering any estimate of wait time or alternative options. We ended up eating next door at Bottega. After our meal, this restaurant was still roughly half empty. I also didn't see a single Asian customer dining inside or outside during that time. Later I checked OpenTable and saw available reservations for three people at 2:00 PM (it was only 1:43 PM at the time). Out of curiosity I walked back in and asked the same hostess again. She once more said they could not seat us today. When I asked if they were fully booked, she confirmed there was no availability. As of that afternoon, OpenTable still showed openings at 2:00 PM and multiple slots after 8:00 PM. So either the hostess didn't check the actual schedule, or something else was going on. Of course, I can simply place a reservation and see if the restaurant will take us in, but since I already ate and I am not trying to eat at a restaurant that does not welcome me, I did not book the table. This is simply an observation of what happened, not an accusation. If the owners or managers would like to clarify the situation, I'm happy to hear the explanation. Super cute photogenic brunch spot. I would temper your expectations because the food is good but not anything to write home about. Make sure to get a reservation online! We were able to snag one on a Sunday after checking out of our hotel about a week in advance (I think we were lucky) I do love the whimsy cute concept and is a great option for girls gatherings. The service was excellent and when my friend didn't like her wine. She was able to send it back without a fuss and get a new drink. The drinks are good. Honorable mention is their White Russian for a good caffeine pick me up. Their espresso martini was made w tequila so it wasn't really our choice of liquor (maybe I'll ask next time to change for vodka). Also a standout was their potato medley. We chose to sit outside, the outdoor umbrellas with tassels were really cute. I was a bit disappointed that the menu was so limited, not sure if it's because we came at an off hour like 2pm, but there were only like 5 options to choose from in terms of food. We got the peach + prosciutto flatbread and charcuterie board, both pretty pricey. The charcuterie board was a lot bigger than we had anticipated, wish we had only ordered this. Note that the cornichon pickles tasted a bit weird (not like the usual taste), and I had a dull stomach ache for the next few hours. The golden kiwis were also pretty mushy. The peach flatbread was very unimpressive, definitely skip. The most unfortunate part of the meal was that since we sat outside, we spent most of our time swatting aggressive flies away with one hand. She was very excited to take me to this restaurant that had great vegan options and an amazing atmosphere. I will say the decor and atmosphere was wonderful. My friend is vegan and gluten free so when we saw the vegan and gluten free mushroom risotto we were excited. We were seated outside at the bench/chairs which was great for having my puppy with me. They are dog friendly, outside (not allowed to be on my lap or the seat though). The steak was perfectly cooked. Should have asked for more horseradish sauce. The eggs were poached which wasn't my fave but my alternative was hard boiled eggs only which seemed worse. The tiny side salad it came with was actually very tasty. I requested sourdough bread as a side and that was extremely disappointing. It was pretty lively, the music that they were bumping was very house/club vibes and although I am a fan of that, I do think it was a little too much for the morning time and the overall aesthetic. It was also pretty loud so you can't really have a conversation without having to raise your voice. It was a bit of a windy day as well, so they weren't able to provide us any source of heating lamps, unfortunately. But they do provide it in some areas where it's already there. Drinks were good however I only got a mocktail. We got the truffle fries along with some dipping sauce and I would say this is honestly the entire highlight of the entire brunch because it was absolutely delicious. I came to Clementine after seeing how cute it was on social media I rounded up the girls and we came out to celebrate my birthday for brunch. The server recommended their aperol drinks as they are known for them. We ordered the fig and proscuitto flatbread and shared it as an appetizer which was savory and sweet from the sweet figs and salty proscuitto. The flowers on top were a cute garnish. I ordered the stead and eggs and it was better than I expected with there being a horseradish sauce that was lightly added under the steak to give it some more flavor. I'm not usually a horseradish fan but I loved the sauce that it came with and how it complimented the flavors of the steak. The radish and peas also made the meal crispy and fresh tasting and I found it decently filling. My friends ordered the french toast and the eggs benedict. The french toast came in thick slices with oranges and toasted bread and they devoured it! My other friend said the Eggs benedict was a little lackluster in flavor. I think if you've had one eggs benedict, you've had them all. We also ordered the french fries but I felt like they were pretty basic and didn't have anything exciting to them. I think a house made ketchup or different sauce would make the fries a little more stand out. For my birthday, they brought out a vanilla and chocolate chip gelato with a candle which was very sweet. At the end, our server gave us our check and brought us each a postcard with a cute painting of the front entrance of Clementine. We were really looking forward to trying Clementine, but unfortunately the quality and portions just didn't justify the prices. The Peach & Prosciutto Flatbread was $34, and I was disappointed by how sparse the toppings were. At that price point, I expected something much more substantial and thoughtfully prepared. The cocktails were also $20 each, and while the presentation was cute, the drinks themselves were relatively simple and inexpensive cocktails to make. It felt like we were paying much more for the aesthetic and Yountville location than for the actual quality of what was being served. The Shrimp & Polenta was decent and beautifully presented, but overall nothing we had made the pricing feel warranted. Our bill was $183 before tip for two people, and we left feeling underwhelmed rather than feeling like we'd had a special meal. There are so many excellent restaurants in Napa Valley at this price point that I simply can't recommend Clementine based on value or food quality. The beets were soft, sweet, and incredibly comforting. For mains, we particularly enjoyed the grilled chicken paillard with bright Mediterranean herbs and a pine-nut romesco. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and moist. The slow-baked halibut with black olive aioli also stood out. So flavorful and the black olive aioli added a wonderful salty pungent fatty mouthfeel. Okay big props for serving Equator, it's probably the only great impression I PERSONALLY had. My wife on the other hand, disappointed that I could not try the steak, but extremely happy and impressed with her Benedict, probably her favorite overall, of all the times she's had this dish. But, that's not to say this is not a great place to brunch. Beautifully decorated, music was just the right tone to enjoy talking and enjoying the ambiance. The servers and floor staff were super sweet. My wife had the Apple Gin Fizz and the Lobster Eggs Benedict and she absolutely loved it. I had a bite and the lobster was cooked amazingly and the hollandaise was perfectly flavored and textured. I just had a half slice sourdough toast with orange marmalade and a couple slices of bacon. I wanted a side of steak and toast but they unfortunately would not accommodate just a side; I would have had to order the whole breakfast plate of steak and eggs. They did however offer is a free dessert for the inconvenience, I had just a bite since I am not able to eat too much. I physically and medically cannot eat large portions and would have eaten a few bites and the rest would have gone to waste. I tried to explain this to the server, hoping it got relayed to the chef in the right manner since I forgot my medical-portion card, however it did not work out for me. I would hope that soon, places will take in to consideration not just allergy restrictions, but medical needs as well. If it's raining or cold out, use the restroom ahead of time. The restrooms are outside, and icebox cold. But super cute. No changing tables moms, use the car. All in all, Great flavors, beautiful simple menu with tasteful looking selections. Great atmosphere. Do not let my experience ruin yours. I will definitely try it again if we come back, we will just have to split the steak and eggs so I can have an option to not be wasteful. read more

Okay first of all this is the cutest restaurant I've been to in a long time. It's tucked nicely between olive trees and roses and across from the famous Bouchon Bakery. Parking is easily accessible and can be street or parking lots in the area. Outdoor patio, indoor seating and a cozy bar section. I'd say you can probably fit around a little over 120 or so people total. Perfect for a rainy day in Wine Country. I would highly recommend making a reservation as seating is limited and especially if you're coming with 4 or more people. I came in with a couple friends during brunch on a Wednesday and was absolutely in awe of the cutesy decor and the very friendly staff. Most places in Napa feel very similar to each other but here, you feel like you are somewhere else. Great restaurant, photo-worthy decor, and even better food. read more

Hidden gem! Unique choices here. I can't wait to come back. We tried the beignets as our breakfast appetizer. Then the breakfast burrito and By The Bay breakfast plate. Clementine is such a wonderful addition to Yountville across from Bouchon Bakery. The exterior of the restaurant with its clementine colored flowers attracted me to the building before it opened a few months ago. And then glancing at the menu of it Aperol drinks (keeping in the color of clementines) made me think of a friends to invite who love Aperol spritzes! We are had lunch on a beautiful fall day when it was in the 80s and love the space, the food and the drinks. We had a table outside. We ordered too much food so they had to bring our dishes in phases as we were sharing. Three of us and we probably ordered toooo much to share The burrata and smoked prosciutto board was the perfect start. Lovely fruits, pickled olives added to the beautiful platter. The artichoke and pesto flatbread was delish. We would've really stopped with food at this point. The lamb burger was wonderful. Ordered medium but probably could've done medium rare. Had a pit of a kick with one of the ingredients in the burger. The shrimp and cauliflower polenta did not disappoint. Very tasty. But one needs to have at least one drink from the bar menu. Soooo many choices. I loved my Clementine spritz. They have an Aperol flight that can be ordered too. Very pleasant to eat outside but flies do come to visit. Maybe one can ask for a table fan to help shop them away. But it's wonderful to eat under the huge olive tree. Service is nicely attentive! Support this new business! read more

Clementine made the radar when we walked by a month ago and saw a new eatery where Coqueta used to be. The Intagram reel sealed the deal with the enticing pictures. 1.5 months later and voila Sunday brunch. The setting is very light and airy cottage feel. The celadon (?) walls and with white trim accents and light brown wood floors make for a beautiful setting. The outdoor patio would be my first choice if the weather is nice though (see pics). The food was good. My favorite dish (not pictured sadly) was the wood fired oysters on a half shell. Just the right amount of smoke and cook to give the oysters a firmer texture. The chervil butter was so delicious. I could eaten a dozen of these. My main dish was the steak and eggs. I enjoyed it overall. The horseradish enhanced both the filet and the watercress. I would of preferred a second egg, but overall great tasting dish. I also had one bite of the lobster benedict. The brioche used was soft and didn't distract from the lobster. Very nice. My least favorite dish was the corn pancakes. I wasn't sure what to make of it and the grapes reminded me of raisins for some reason. Our service was great. We were taken care of and things came out promptly. Our server hooked us up with an extra pastry as she knew I didn't favor the pancakes. Smart move! Overall this place is very Instagram worthy decor vibe. I will say this place attracts a lot of "girls day out" patrons as 90% of the diners that day were female. Our sever confirmed that this place is definitely a female destination for trips through the Valley. Smart move by the owners as this fills a nice niche. read more

If I could own a restaurant, id design it exactly like this one. I LOVED this place. Came here to celebrate my bf and I's 5th anniversary and they made us feel so special, making sure to congratulate us and even give us free drinks. We sat outside in the cutest patio area and it was such a good vibe. The food was also incredible. I got this brussel sprout flatbread that I must say is one of the best flatbread's I've EVER had. My bf got the Italian style Benedict and loved his meal. It def is on the pricier side but that's what comes with such a beautiful place and great service. Our server made sure to check in often even though we were just there for a quick brunch. I will be dreaming of this place until I can come back. read more

I can't stop talking about how cute this place was. I want my house to mirror the chic and quirky vibe of this place. I loved everything - right down to the font on the menu. We sat on the patio and I would do the same again - even with the sun out! Start with the pastry basket for the table and share (if you can). Dont skip the cocktails, either. Basil martini or the Aperol Spritz (chef's kiss). Unfortunately, we were still full from breakfast so we went a little lighter on our next decision - but it was still delicious. We had high hopes for Clementine, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing from both a service and food standpoint. We had a 7:45 PM reservation for an outdoor table. We were seated at one of the smallest two-person tables, even though there were multiple larger tables around us. As someone who is quite tall and has a larger frame, the table was especially cramped. We also planned on ordering several dishes, and ultimately ordered a bottle of wine, two cocktails, multiple appetizers, and two entrées. Knowing this, we politely asked if we could move to one of the larger tables. We were told every other table was reserved and that if something opened up, they would let us know. We stayed for over two hours, and none of those tables were ever occupied. In fact, there was a table for five and several tables for three or four guests that remained empty the entire evening. Our tiny table quickly became overcrowded with a bottle of wine, cocktails, water glasses, bread, appetizers, and plates. It got to the point where the servers wouldn't place new dishes on the table until we cleared space ourselves. That should not be the customer's responsibility, especially when there were larger empty tables available throughout our meal. Before our entrées arrived, we asked again if we could move and were denied a second time. We then asked to speak with the manager, who was dismissive and insisted around 9:15 PM that all of the surrounding tables were reserved, despite the fact that they remained empty for the rest of our dinner. His attitude made us feel unwelcome and poorly treated. The servers themselves were pleasant enough, so this isn't a criticism of the waitstaff. The issue was the manager's unwillingness to accommodate a simple request despite obvious availability. To make matters worse, the pork chop--recommended by the staff--was severely overcooked. It was so dry and tough that it felt like chewing beef jerky. To the restaurant's credit, they did remove it from our bill, which we appreciated. Overall, while we appreciated the adjustment for the pork chop, the combination of inflexible management, poor hospitality, and disappointing food left us with no desire to return. This was a $300-$400 meal and a terrible experience, and we will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. read more

We were finally offered an outdoor table once I pointed out that you have people sitting outside and then more people came and they were seated without much problem so why did they refuse us?
