Absolutely horrible! power goes out. Can't even contact anyone! They have the dumbest customer service to call where you can't even talk to anyone. Their automated services sucks. If I can give this company -100 stars I would. Power just went off and you call the number and they ask you press a number to get through to where you're going and it doesn't work. Then the phone hangs up on you. Why on the hell is the power going out when it's not raining or wind isn't even blowing! Think you will get a discount for the power being out, NOPE! read more

Cleco has always been a great to us from my Grandmother to me. I like the company and haven't had any issues.

charged me outrageous bills and then came and put a new meter in and said my meter has been broken for months.and they were guesstimated my bill..and my bills still were over 500.00 a month, for a 1500 sq ft house. read more

This is what happens when you have a monopoly. Attitude In office terrible. I have been in my house since 2003 about three years ago they put a new meter on my house my bill has gone up triple. My husband and I on a fixed income is an average size house in Slidell we're getting bills as if it were a large commercial building. We think the meter is faulty because the bills rose after the meter was replaced. However, no one in Cleco will like knowledge it. Cleco needs competition or they need to get out of Slidell. read more

I wish I could select zero stars!!! AWFUL customer service, they tell you one payment to get your service reconnected, after you pay that they tell you something else, then another payment after that. No one knows what is actually going on. They are money guzzlers with no compassion. I honestly believe they teach their employees to get as much money as you can from a customer without actually helping them. They will transfer you all over the place with no care at all. It is a shame they are the only electric company in Slidell. read more

I have tried calling a million times. I am charged $1000 for four months, then charged $500 for moving, and now they won't give me my total and harassing that I am going to debt collection. It's a fabrication of a company. Who can even help fix this. read more

When you set up an auto bank draft, it does not work untill the ballance is "0". Results in power turned off, loss of food. I was not notified and the employees on the "customer service line" cannot see where you set it up to confirm that it is set up. There is no notification of past due, email, phone, or text, EVEN if you have it set up on the account. read more

Total garbage company. They upgraded their system and it locked me out of my account and cancelled my auto draft with no notification of any kind. Now 3 months late on my bill and they want me to pay them $2.50 for the pleasure of taking my payment. Bunch of morons. read more
