Dan said if I paid in cash or check he wouldn't charge me tax. I deleted the text he sent so I called his office. The woman there confirmed $85. I mailed a check to his office and then I got the following text: "Got ur ck, check my text when u asked me how much,what dose it say $85 PLUS TAX" My response: "I don't save texts. I thought you said if I paid with check then you don't charge tax?? I may have heard incorrectly but that was my understanding... Also, I don't think there is any need for the condescending tone of your current text". His response: "Where's done don't call me anymore" --- his grammatical and spelling errors, not mine--- Ummmm? What??! I placed the onus on me, said I'd send the tax and then remarked about the tone of the text being unnecessary. Based upon his response I guess my first impression years ago was correct. Not a very customer friendly demeanor. I do not recommend D&T
