A fellow living history reenactor recommended C. & D. Jarnigan, so I ordered custom-made trousers. They were a bit pricey by comparison, but the quality of both the fabric and the workmanship made it well worth the price. I've already placed two more orders, and I'm sure there will be many more to come.

They are usually marked pretty high, but if you are good at dickering you may snag an old wooden desk or metal milk can. There are musical instruments, DVDs, laptops, TVs, tools, ATVs and guns. It make me cringe to look at the rifles behind the counter, as they are plunked together, sometimes 2 or 3 deep, rubbing together, getting nicked wood and scratched metal. There is a large selection of guns here and they are one of the first places to advertise having a stock of .22 ammunition available, since the shortage a couple year ago. I enjoy looking at the lever action rifles, they are my eye candy, as far as rifles go. Their lack of knowledge on certain models is a little off putting. You can probably find the same selection of hand guns and rifles here as you would at Berry's Trading Post. Definitely shop around and compare prices and then try to dicker them down to your comfort level.

Bar-None is the go-to place for motorcycle riding gear (helmets, boots, saddle bags, ladies leather…read morebags, gloves, t-shirts, leathers and caps). This is a very well stocked store that offers western boots and biker boots. There is a little something for men, women and even children. You can get your bike serviced and have minor repairs made. The address is Old 45 S and it is in Guys, Tn just across the state line. There was a Bar-None store in town (Corinth) for several years (owned by the cousin of the owner of this store, Cecil Rhoads) and I shopped there quite a bit. This store is just as well stocked as any I've been in. The leather items are mostly made in Pakistan, but they are heavy and durable goods that hold up under punishment. The western part of the store consists of boots, a few saddles and horse brushes. Dan Post brand of western boots are very popular in this area and are a bit more pricey than a basic brand carried at the local Walmart, but the quality and, in most cases, detail in ornamental stitching is a work of art. There are steel-toe work boots but, I don't recall seeing ones with the metatarsal cover which are the style usually required to work at Caterpillar. There is a bike shop to handle bike maintenance and accessories applications. Bar-None is attached to C Baby's, so if you go visit try to stick around and visit C Baby's and buy a lottery ticket or five.
