What an amazing summer we had!…read more I'm a regular customer at GenevaBoats, as I spent at least 5-6 days with them this summer. We had an amazing time, the staff is amazing, it's top-tier service was delightful. They have an amazing fleet of boats for every occasion: We went fishing with a fully equipped boat, then water skiing with a specialised boat (and the skipper was actually an ex-swiss champion!), they showed us all of Geneva shores, the best spot to go swimming, etc... I can't be enthusiast enough about these guys: They are around 25 years old, always with a big smile and very polite! They can be really professional (they're Swiss), but they still took good care of the kids, helped us to take amazing pictures. The peak was probably in August when we rented a boat with them to see the famous Geneva firework from the lake: I was speechless! Hope these guys will have a good run, they deserve it! If you're looking for a good time in Geneva, it's a MUST!

SO if you want to avoid the queues at the top of the mountain you can buy your passes as you drive through Gex. They also sell fishing permits for Cessy lake (and possible other places). A minor drawback for those of you reading this review is that they don't always have someone there that can speak English but they don't seem to mind my bad French.
