I had learned from previous tailors to come in the shoes you'd like the dress to be hemmed to. I arrived in the evening, and the owner greeted me. She had me try on the floor-length dress with my shoes. She quickly marked her place on my dress in the front and told me it was a $70 hem and that I could pick it back up in a week. I was shocked. I was expecting to have to stand in place for 30 minutes while she marks her place all around the dress. I was very pleased with the pickup timing too, considering other places I've been to. I had a small schedule change and called and requested I picked it up another day and she said that would be just fine. I had expected to try on the dress again when I picked it up, but she didn't ask me to do that. I just paid and left with my dress all wrapped up. It was hemmed well and looked professional. The only downside was that during the wedding dancing I stepped on the back of the dress once or twice. Wasn't a big deal, just unexpected. The hem fell right where I needed it to with my shoes. I'll be back!

The shorts were very well tailored and fit very nicely on my legs now (they were too baggy before). The fact that she was honest and explained it well means a lot to anyone who takes great pride in their wardrobe. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Instead, she added two huge, uneven seams down the front of my silk skirt without ever asking or telling me--that completely ruined it. When I asked for a refund or discount, she ignored me and just tried to "fix" the seams I never wanted in the first place. Nothing was ever ready on time, I had to make multiple trips because she missed deadlines, and she never answers the phone. My rehearsal dinner dress was also altered incorrectly--she tightened it into a bodycon fit after I specifically told her not to. Between the poor workmanship, constant delays, and total lack of accountability, this was the worst business experience I've ever had. Brides and anyone with important pieces--go elsewhere.
