I got really excited so I bought a months worth plus 2 weeks in the 2rd strongest bed . The staff is what actully made me decide to stay, they were so sweet I felt like I was at friends house! Also hollywood tans has some high tech features about it , for example everytime you return to tan you must verify who you by pressing your fingerprint into a little computer generated pad. I was very impressed! After I was done paying I got ready to tan, there was a towel/sticker bar and also at the other end of the salon a beauty bar with make up remover, lotions and deoderant, they definately didnt skimp out on any of those details. The woman lead me back to the booth I was to tan and said take as much time as you need to get undresed and apply lotion no rush and showed me how to turn on the tanning bed. I used the womans own personal favoriate lotion which happened to be an exclusive hollywood tan lotion and I loved it. I only went in for about 6 mins in an 8 min. bed and I was happy with the results. I wasnt burnt but just enough color to go directly back the next day to continue building my base tan. Ive been to many, many tanning salon throughout my life and this was definately in the top 3! Im very excited to return! We didn't know anything about anyone, so we went with Tom because I'd read someone saying good things about him in a Yelp review. We arrived a little early and everyone was very polite. I think we were greeted by like three different people. Someone brought a book of nail polish colors and designs for my kiddo to look at while she was waiting. Tom took his time and did a really good job. Kiddo is beyond pleased with her nails. The only thing you really need to know before going is to take cash with you. You can use a debit or credit card to pay for your nails, but you can't leave a tip with it. You have to pay the tip in cash (which I never carry on me). They have an ATM machine at the back of the room, so luckily, I didn't have to go out to one then come back. But it charges $2.50. But now I know. And if you've read my review, you know, too. We will definitely go back here. Oh, I forgot to add that they ask for your birthday. While I was sitting & waiting for the kiddo to get done, someone came in and signed in. As soon as he signed in, the machine started singing a Happy Birthday song to him. That was unexpected and kind of cool. He then got 10% off because it was his birthday.
