It was my first time visiting this place, and I had an incredibly satisfying experience. I got my hair done by hair designer Miranda, and she recreated the photo I showed her almost perfectly. She carefully adjusted the details to match my face shape and hair condition, which really showed how professional she is. She understood exactly what style I wanted and refined it with great attention to detail, so I felt completely comfortable trusting her. The overall atmosphere was calm and friendly, making my first visit very pleasant. Thanks to the amazing result, I left feeling great. I'll definitely be booking with Miranda again next time. Highly recommended! read more

(Male) I've been here a few times and every time Rita does a fantastic job. I'm the type of person who honestly has no idea what I want when I get a cut and so I ask her to use her creative freedom. Every single time that I come here I get multiple compliments about how nice my hair looks. The whole cut process usually includes shampoo and a neck shave for around $15, and when compared to some of the other salons in town who charge $20 for just a buzz I find it to be a great deal. She takes pride in her work and gives you that sweet motherly feel when going about her business. read more

He's got 30 years experience, & I only had to tell him what I wanted, and he did it exactly just right! Of course he's off the beaten path, and that was to my advantage because I was the only one that was there and we got a chance to talk and learn about each other and make future arrangements for regular visits. I'm so glad I met with the master barber!

The cut was also fantastic- let's be real too, it's not everywhere in the south you can walk into barber shop as a white boy and ask for a fade and not get a funny look my stylist was very attentive to what I was after, not only that, but my stylist also asked me numerous times if I was happy with the cut and checked in regularly to make sure she got me exactly how I wanted. He insisted that everyone's anatomy is different. I totally agree with this, but he did not take the time to feel in my nose for the "sweet spot" when I was pierced or take more than a second to check out my nose before or after putting on the clamp, so how would he know about my anatomy? Even when I pointed out that I want my jewelry to dangle from my septum rather than REST on my philtrum and that I had more real estate to work with, he still insisted everyone's anatomy is different. Like, what? I feel like I should've told him I've already had my septum pierced years ago, but I shouldn't have to "prove" I know what I want. I regret sending my friend there to have him taper her nostril piercing back open because she told me he was rough with the taper (twisting, shoving, etc.)
