Come and support this museum! The sweet lady at the front/cashier did an excellent job of sharing the history of the museum. It has seen its shares of up and downs and currently runs on donations. The amazing people that donate their beautiful vehicles for public viewing help to fund the museum. Our family loved viewing history through the automobiles. The exhibits update constantly. You never know which vehicles you may catch that have been in films or driven by famous people. There is a huge selection of cars from the early model Fords all the way to late model Chevys and Dodge. read more

Very impressed with this museum. The vehicles are spectacular and the people were very knowledgeable and passionate about cars! A must-see museum. read more

A few miles off the interstate and you have a fun place to relive the past. With over 200 classics cars to view in person the scale of this place does not disappoint. $10 for adults and $6 for ages 17 and under you have unlimited time to see the cars, read the info about them and enjoy historical treasures. The inside of the place was 50,000 square feet, the size of a football field. We were treated and provided with information about the museums roots and where the cars came from. I'm not much of a car person but I even enjoyed myself. If you are passing through Nebraska on I-80 make the short detour. It's worth it. read more

If you are a grease monkey or a car buff--or even if you are not, (like me) this will be a surprising stop just off the interstate near Kearney. The $10 admission fee (seniors are $8) is well worth the fun times and memories shared as we walked the cavernous display area housing over 200 immaculately restored vehicles. The display spaces with a filling station, drive in theatre, and video boards kept our interest and we ended up spending a couple of hours making our way through the collection. The display space is sparkling clean, the air conditioning is cool and the restrooms were immaculate. A small gift shop is available but we ran out of time--closes at 5:00 pm. The attendants are friendly, helpful, proud and passionate about their unique collection. We enjoyed this stop on our trip to Kearney! read more

Rarely do you find a collection of old cars and people who love what those vehicles represent. A time when owning those cars meant the freedom to go where you want and do what you wanted to do. The love of automobiles on display for anyone to come out and talk gear head or just enjoy the the last 70 years of cars. It's our past on display reminding people what they love about automobiles. Freedom with two or four doors. Come take a walk down memory lane and appreciate what cars were and possibly better appreciate what you drive today! read more

Neat little auto museum nearby I-80 in Kearney NE. For an admission cost of less than the Archway, you can be rolled back in time to automobiles from the teens thru the 80s. The cars vary from early coach work cars to corvettes, trans-ams even Deloreans. It's not a giant museum, I went thru in about an hour and could have taken much more time to really look at everything. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and if you're into cars, you really need to stop in and take a look. read more

I visited this museum once a long time ago. I was riding my motorcycle across the United States. Every American should take a road trip across the continent at least once in a lifetime. I took the northern route. I stopped in while in Nebraska. I figured I would have this opportunity and perhaps no other -- it was a day to cross the state and it turns out to be true that I have not been anywhere near here again (I visited Omaha once, a three hour drive away, and that's it). I share that background because I'd bet most folks who come to this museum likewise will have traveled a great distance. My recommendation is if you are anywhere nearby, and you have any interest in cars, make the detour. Or if you are in the state but you don't care about motor vehicles, stop by as well. There are only a few other collections of this scope, such as the Henry Ford in Detroit. It's a good diversion from driving. It's more than that though, because cars represent our identities, our socioeconomic status, to some our patriotism, and the styles of the era. read more

Awesome collection of rare cars and memorabilia. The museum shares the parking lot with Cabellas so plenty of space. We were traveling in our 42' class A Motorhome with a toad car. read more

A very beautiful car show room and collection to stop in and view some of the best collectibles of all times. They have all different kinds such as Ford/Cadillac/Chevy/Rolls Royce and many more to look/view. They have restrooms, soda/pop machine and snack machine as well. They offer if you want to take their iPAD to view the automobile photographs and the history of the car and what has been done to it which is really helpful. read more

The most vast collection of vehicles. On our way cross country we had to stop even with a time crunch. We spent over 2 hours and it was well worth it! read more

This was such a worthwhile trip. I have two sons; one loves cars and the other could not care less. The Director engaged with us the whole time and even spent time with my older son to teach him about cars in a way that helped him to enjoy the experience while my car lover was exploring to his heart's content. It is clean, well maintained, and a great destination for car enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike. We couldn't recommend it more. read more

Now this Museum really is a classic car collection it has got stuff from all the air is all the way up to the muscle cars and they are all in Tip-Top Museum condition and lined up in beautiful beautiful rose there's something in here for everybody from some of the early stuff like to duesenbergs all the way up to those muscle cars depending upon what you like what you love what you boy I wish I would have had one of those. For all of us car enthusiasts there was a time when we wanted that one or that one or that one and it's true for most. For me that time is past so I can look at them without that longing look in your eyes or the drool from wishing you had one. It's hidden around the back of Cabela's which would seem odd but apparently they rent or lease their space from Cabela's. It's a mixture of one man's collection + other donations + other ones that are on loan to fill the museum out. It's a good Museum. , worthy of your time so stop and give him a look I did and I'm glad I did read more

Really enjoyed my visit here, I actually barely made it before they closed and the man tending the gallery held it open for us! Got to see a lot of my favorites and some I've never seen before. Look for the big bus after Cabelas for a true classic experience read more
