Nancy has become like a family member and my dogs are sad on the days she doesn't come. Nancy has extensive knowledge and training tips about problem behaviors and if you do what she says it works! I used this groomer for a long time and frankly my dog has never know anyone better. The team there is, by far, the best of the best. Attention to details, loving and gentle care, consistent and dependable results, a fair price on services... everything they did for Isabella (my pooch) and our family was awesome... and then I had to move. What makes me write this review now is the endless search to try to find that level of service again. Trust me when I say it is rare to find. If you have the opportunity to become one of the regulars at A Cut Above seize the opportunity and enjoy it. You'll never find a better pet groomer anywhere in the USA.

I believe but don't know for certain that she was just getting her business started. Fast forward 3 years.....and boy did things change! I really liked Mel and trusted her with all my fur babies. I contacted her, as usual, by text to request her services while I was going to be out of town. She didn't respond. I contacted again and she responded she couldn't do the first week but was available for the second. Then as I was preparing for my trip I received a text saying her health wasn't good and she couldn't sit for me any longer. Which I completely understood so I asked that she return my key. No response. Second text, same request, no response. My husband pitched in by going into work later, coming home for an hour mid day and leaving work early so I could take my trip as planned. When I got home I once again request my key be returned and that she please respond. Told her I was uncomfortable with my key being out there since she no longer worked for us. She took offense, assured me it was safe and if I wanted it back, there was a $5 charge! What? I said I would pick it up or meet her somewhere in town. She said the best she could do was send it USPS COD. I said fine. I received that notice today at a cost of $17.66. I can't even understand any of this! Long story short, I have paid to re-key my locks and am refusing the COD. I'm writing this review not out of spite but so other people considering using this business are aware of my experience and can proceed accordingly.

Every Saturday morning with Rosie became something we truly looked forward to. Sarah is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about what she does. She creates a structured yet fun environment that helped Rosie (and us!) build confidence, respect, and solid obedience skills. The group format was fantastic--not only did Rosie learn to focus around distractions, but we also enjoyed connecting with other dog owners and cheering each other on. Rosie has come such a long way, and we owe it all to this amazing program. If you're on the fence about training, this is your sign to do it. Thank you, Sarah and the Scotch Pines team--you've made a lasting difference for our family!

This is not something I will do in the motor home, and I saw an ad for Splash not far from the campground. I have never used a self-serve pet spa, but I'm glad I did! When I walked into Splash bright and early, there were already several other dog owners bathing their pooches. The wonderful staff member helped get me set up and ready to start the process of cleaning my pups. In less than an hour, my girls were clean, dry, and brushed! Having all the necessary tools within reach sure made this easy! Plus, I didn't have to clean the bathroom of all the dog fur, change soaking wet clothes as they have aprons for the owners, no wet laundry to do as they have the towels, and neither my back nor my knees hurt as the tub is waist high!
