They were piping hot upon arrival, juicy and flavorful. P. said that his carnitas street tacos were delicious, also arriving hot with the meat juicy and tender. We came here on a Saturday evening with a huge group of like 40 people and sat at a biiiiiig long table. Clase Azul, idk how, but you did it! We had such a blast at this place and enjoyed all kinds of things from chips and salsa, to delicious margaritas. I ordered a oaxaca margarita and it was absolutely FIRE. Large portions for the food but also for the drinks. They have plenty of vegetarian friendly options. We ordered crispy fried cheese flautas and cheese enchiladas. While everything did take a bit of time to come out, they did their best to try to accomodate to us in the best and fastest way possible. Had lunch at Clase Azul. The place is not busy for Tuesday lunch hour with plenty of free parking spaces. I always like their light and bright ambiance with outdoor, indoor tables and a huge bar area! Today, we sat inside to cool off the Floridian sunshine. We were seated immediately and while checking the menu, warm chips and tasty salsa were served! Wife has her "Taco Tuesday", three Asada Tacos with refried beans. I have my heart set on Birria tacos but at last minute, I opted for a Shrimp and Chicken Fajita, refried beans, rice and Guacamole. Both tacos and fajita were cooked right and well seasoned! The portions were huge and took some fajita and tacos home! The food is authentic and good. Service was friendly and professional. Everything was just ok! Started with a jumbo Mama Coco margarita which was probably my favorite part of the meal. Then we had the Chicharron with guacamole. The chicharron were a bit chewy and the guacamole was just ok. Next two of the biggest darn burritos came out! Omg they're massive so come hungry. The birria burrito was mostly queso. The meat inside was tasty though. I ordered the quesabirria tacos. I confirmed with other guests that that is what I ordered but what I received Birria Tacos. After a while, the server finally came back over and I asked about the meal. I was told I got what I ordered. I politely explained this isn't what I ordered and she asked what did I want a side of cheese? Ok sure. Finally, we asked to speak to a manager who apologized and offered to make the situation right. By that point we had finished our meal so there was no point in her remaking the tacos. The side of attitude from the server afterward was irritating. Had the arroz con pollo with the cheese and chorizo dip and a margarita. It was all very tasty I would not get the cheese and chorizo dip again the cheese is literally a block of cheese that's melted which means it becomes quite chewy. It is NOT queso blanco. We had a great server who helped us in picking good choices (she didn't say to get the cheese dip that was on us). Overall it was fantastic food and I'd def go back there. Three of us went in this past Wednesday, at 5:30. There was only a couple of tables with people and no one at the bar. The waitress came around and took our order, never saw her again, we were going to order another drink, but our food came out, she put the food down and left. Never came back to check on us. We still were thinking about ordering another drink. My burrito was fine. The other person at the table had a burrito she said it was fine. My daughter's queso Barria was wrong. They forgot the queso, My daughter being the polite person did not want me to go and get the waitress who was huddled in the back with all the other waitresses just talking. Approximately 10 minutes went by no waitress, finally the waitress came back, and my daughter said I ordered the queso barria and there's no queso on here. The waitress said are you sure that's what you ordered and just kind of rolled her eyes at my daughter, we all heard her order the queso barria. So she walked away and came back with a bowl of cheese put it down on the table and walked away again. Cold cheese! Still no waitresses roaming around the floor for a while, then finally one came away from the Bar area and I asked her to get the manager for me. All of a sudden the waitress comes back, and I said no thank you I want to speak with your manager. The manager came over we explained what happened and of course she was nice and apologized and took my daughter's meal off the bill. We asked her if we could get our check. The waitress came back with a check and started to walk away again and I said could we have containers to take this food to go, she brought back two, there was three meals sitting there. And my daughter asked for a container to put the juice in. She walked away, came back put the check down forgot the container for the juice., I believe her name was Henrietta or something like that. Just a terrible waitress, with a bad attitude, I did leave a 20% tip because I don't believe in not tipping, but I probably shouldn't have. read more

Very disappointing experience From the moment we sat down, the experience was unpleasant. The table was dirty when we arrived, which already gave us a bad first impression. The waitress was rude and unwelcoming throughout our visit. We felt uncomfortable and as though we were being rushed to leave rather than welcomed as customers. The service was poor from beginning to end, and unfortunately, there was no effort to make the experience better. Overall, the service was far below what we expected from a restaurant. The vibe is modern, warm, and perfect for date night, girls night, or just treating yourself to amazing Mexican food. The standouts for me were: Birria tacos -- crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. Chorizo queso fundido -- absolutely incredible, a must-order. Fresh guacamole -- bright, chunky, and delicious. Fried empanadas -- golden, crispy, and loaded with flavor. The atmosphere is nice very upscale. We started with chips and salsa complementary. The salsa was good had some spice to it. They had large selection of margaritas we just did a couple draft beers though. My wife had the enchiladas verde it was a big portion and thought it was good not as many spices as some of our favorite Mexican places. I had the enchiladas supreme it was 4 enchiladas and it was huge one of each of their different kinds of enchiladas chicken, beef, cheese, and bean. It was a lot of food we couldn't eat it all. The best Mexican food I've had in awhile! I got the jalapeño margarita and it was very good! It definitely had a good kick to it so make sure you like your spicy marg spicy! For dinner I had the mahi tacos. These were the best tacos I've ever had in my life. All aspects of the dish had amazing flavor that showed through. Everyone else at my table also had amazing tasting food. The portions sizes were also very good! It was clean and our food came out in a timely manor! Upon reviewing our last receipt, we were surprised to be charged $30 for a single drink made with a tequila that I regularly purchase, that costs less than $40 per bottle. I raised this with a manager who said he would follow up, but I never heard back. Over the past two weeks, we've visited Naples, NYC, Rhode Island, and Boston and did not pay that price for a single drink in any of those places. We returned this past Friday around 9:00 PM and were told that they were still serving food for around two more hours. Despite fewer than six people at the bar, it was impossible to get either bartenders' attention. After finally receiving a menu, the bartender never returned. When we asked the hostess to then seat us at a table, she was also as noticeably unwelcoming. Thankfully, our server Jacob was outstanding - professional, attentive, and friendly and the food was again excellent. If not for Jacob's professionalism and the quality of the food, we likely would not return. We hope the service improves. read more

Went with a group of 9. Food varied from excellent-burrito to below average-quesadilla. Service was good. They had live music with 2 trumpets. It's a cool restaurant and the food is decent. I think it is a little nuts you can't order basic regular sized margarita made with Clase Azul. They force you to order a large for $36 or a pitcher for over $100. It's amusing considering the name of the restaurant. read more
