Very interesting artwork! Located right in the heart of all the shopping with a big parking lot for those who rented a vehicle.

In love with Clark Little's photography for about 15 years, his images of waves and marine life are captivating and along with so many others, I'm in total awe of the steps he takes to capture all these shorebreak photos of waves. It ain't easy, you have to know what you're doing and even with that, it's real dangerous. Back in the days before Clark Little, I was a collector of Jon Mozo's prints of waves, but sadly, he had passed away young, doing what he loved. I've been purchasing Clark Little's calendars since the first edition that came out and gave them out as gifts, which were very well appreciated by the recipients! I'd bought a matted print titled "Water Baby" at his store back in 2012, a men's tee a few years later and all of my times at the store and with staff were always pleasant. Though I didn't get a chance to see Clark Little here during the times I stopped by, just being surrounded by his photography on all of the walls is such a blissful experience. I have purchased the smallest size of the "Glitter" aluminum piece (I wish that I could afford some of his larger aluminum pieces, haha) from his website, a hoodie and bags and they are all of really good quality. When I had some questions about sizing for apparel items on their website, I received an email response the next day (shout out to Kapua, mahalos!), which I sincerely appreciated! Absolutely, this shop is a MUST STOP for any admirer of Clark Little's photography. read more

Had to visit here after seeing "Shorebreak" on Amazon Prime video, which captures the life, process and history of Clark Little and his unique and popular wave break photography. Store is small, but packs a little bit of everything. We bought some glossy calendars to hang in our offices to remind us of Hawaii. The shop also showcases some of his work, and has one of his camera and fin sets posted on the wall. Merch includes calendars, photos, iphone cases, hats, t-shirts, and more. Worth a stop inside if youre passing by. read more

In need of a piece to fill my blank living room wall, I drove up to Haleiwa looking for Holiday deals yesterday. I am a fan of Clark Little's work, so I stopped in there first before any other gallery. Staff was very friendly and helped to give me an understanding of what sizing was possible, as well as pricing which was surprisingly affordable considering my budget. I left with the print of my choice, along with sizing, and other options. All I had to do was call and provide my credit card over the phone to place the order if nothing else caught my eye and I settled on a beautiful shorebreak photo to be permanently fixed on my blank gray living room wall. Sadly, I did not go with the print because I ended up getting an abstract painting instead from another gallery in Haleiwa. However, I wanted to be sure to give the store some credit for having great hosts tending to the store. I'm actually already considering another stop at this store sometime next year to swap out a frame in the bedroom with something from this gallery. read more

My husband is a BIG Clark Little fan so when we stumbled upon this gallery, well, it was a must. They have a great selection of eye candy on the walls and we love all the well curated merchandise! We ended up getting a metal turtle print (will be shipped for free to us/custom made to order). A gorgeous and thick beach towel, an iPhone cover that is super sexy, a t-shirt of "Roxy" the famous northshore tiger shark with a broken jaw And and hoodie too. And the lady working was just so engaging, accommodating and delightful to chat with without trying to oversell us, which made us stay and play (and spend) even more. She seemed to genuinely love her job and chatting with guests. If I still had a store on the island I would have tried to recruit her (lol). She's a keeper! For a small space, the gallery packs in a variety of merchandise. The items are high-end and one-of-a-kind since Clark is really the best at his niche skill for wave photography. You can get masks, coffee table books, canvas prints, etc. The TV in the back plays information about Clark Little, which really boosted my appreciation for his dedication to his art. This gallery is walkable from anywhere in historic Hale'iwa. Street parking is available. A medium-size parking lot sits behind the row of stores near Matsumoto shave ice. read more

Normally when you say, "OH I LOVE THIS!" in an art gallery, someone, usually the art consultant, will shimmy up to you and say something like, "I know, right? Isn't this lovely? This is his limited edition print number XYZ which depicts the true love between these cuddly sea turtles and it's one of our most popular prints! If you really like the print but can't afford it now, check out our shirts...the turtles are on the shirts! Or how about this makeup clutch? They are on it too! Soooo cute!" I normally do not like pushy sales people but I was really interested in the shirts I saw. Two sea turtles, in the water who appeared to be kissing. A young woman was at the register poring over some papers. We were the only ones in the store and only a few feet from her. The large group of Japanese tourists had left. Did I really want the shirt? Maybe. I didn't want to paw through the entire shirt rack for my size but maybe if I had someone come talk to me, I would have been more inclined to buy? The makeup clutch was like $60 so I wouldn't buy that, but the shirt.... The three big names in my book for Hawaii artists are Wyland, Little and Tabora. Little is one of my favorites as he is a photographer of ocean waves and sea creatures. His photos are hanging everywhere...I saw them at Pacific Honda in town (don't go there) and in MW Restaurant. If I could afford to have one of his prints, I'd have them! But for now, a shirt or two will do...or not. read more

This is one of the places that my best friend was really looking forward to during our trip. Clark Little captures amazing photos of surfers - it is truly art. Here at the gallery you can view so many of his great photos and purchase them. They also have apparel and other souvenirs for sale. First off, Clark Little is the undisputed BEST shore break photographers on this big beautiful blue planet of ours, that being said, after making the trek out to the North Shore to visit his gallery, I was a bit underwhelmed. {GPS NOTE: the address on google maps is incorrect} So, the gallery, the pictures there are very nice, obviously, but the gallery was small, had some mugs, shirts, hats, etc. But didn't do the artist justice. Out of 1000s of pictures this talented photographer has taken, less than 50 are on display. Also, there is no way to access the library of pictures he has at his gallery, that's a huge business opportunity missed. Additionally, the nice lady working at the store was very pleasant, however, definitely not someone who is equipped to explain the art that's there or actually even interested in discussing the pieces to potential patrons. She was busy taking inventory instead of looking interested in true customers. I also called the gallery twice and got the voicemail, that should never happen during normal business hours. Overall opinion: if you want to see Clark Little's Photos, follow him on his Instagram page - you'll be more impressed with his work. The gallery is unfortunately not living up to its potential. Direct Business Advice for : 1. If you've hired your friends to help you run your gallery, you need to hold them accountable for results. Teach them the importance of making the customer realize the MUST STRONGLY consider buying your work. 2. Make your entire gallery available via iPads or a similar device customers can scroll through. 3. Also sell your prints via RAW or JPEGs at a price depending on size of image files. Your customer base would grow exponentially since anyone with Internet can purchase your prints but at a price range that reflects the size of the image file. Mahalo! read more

Photos look great on the web site. Ordered an image 18x30 or so. The overall resolution was terrible across the entire picture! It was disppointing and didnt match what was advetised. Paid almost $50 to return it and received half a credit. Little Photography states that it he received the photo damaged. I sent the print without a scratch on it in the original package and he recieved the package tube undamaged. The nature of the damage he shows can only be done if the package was opened. This is NOT-explainable unless someone intentionally did so and FedEx does not do this. I've been scammed and conned. Business practice lacks ethics and integrity. Stay away. read more

Clark Little is an amazing shore break photographer based out of the North Shore of Oahu. I've followed him for a while on IG, and by luck, won one of his hats in a contest. Since I was in Haleiwa, decided to try and save them on shipping and just pick up my hat (Hope I didn't lose out of any stickers they may have included in the package). Clark Little Gallery is located near Matsumoto's Shave Ice. I haven't been to Haleiwa for a while due to the traffic caused by the tons of tourists who pass through. The gallery is small but the pictures for sale speak for themselves. I'd buy them all if I had the $$. There are pictures everywhere and in all price ranges. There are some apparel as well (shirts, hats, socks), phone cases, calenders, stickers, etc. The nice young man working the front desk, Yuji (hope I spelled that right) was nice enough to make some calls to see if I could pick up my hat. Luckily, I was able to and he gave it to me. I was so excited I walked out without asking for a bag. I went back and he was nice enough to give me a cool black Clark Little bag. Again, I was stoked! I told him I had hoped to catch Clark Little in the gallery and Yuji said that he comes by randomly and unannounced. I said it would be awesome to have Clark Little sign my hat, so Yuji suggested I follow them on social media and they would post for signings. Good to know! We have been following (electronically) this mans career for several years now and got to do a meet and greet in Mill Valley Ca during one of his tours. So, it was a treat to stop in his gallery in the area where all the magic started. Again, my champagne taste could not out weigh my beer budget - so I settled for an iPhone case with honus. Absolutely love this place! I've been following Clark Little on instagram for some time now and just had to stop by to check out his amazing artwork in person. The staff were extremely helpful and personable which was a plus! The video that plays in the back of the gallery gives you some backstory on how Clark Little got started as a shorebreak photographer and it's definitely worth watching ;) Lots of beautiful artwork to gaze at.. and plenty of clothing/accessories too! When we're on the islands we try to visit his gallery (I usually pick up notecards....funny thing is I hardly use them because I love the photos so much). In Feb. 2016 my father and I went to this gallery to purchase something as a memento of our vacation to Oahu. After looking around my father picked out a photograph he liked and proceed to pay at the counter. Literally less than 30 seconds after getting the receipt, my dad noticed another photograph that he preferred over the one he purchased. It was the exact same size, and exact same price, and we had not even left the counter area of the store. My father asked if he could exchange the print he had just purchased less than a minute before for the other print. The young lady said "sorry, all sales are final" and that they would not do a straight up exchange. All that needed to happen was to put the 1st print back on the wall, and take the other one down, it would have taken less than a minute. We couldn't believe they wouldn't let us do this considering we hadn't even left the gallery much less the payment counter!! We said "really, we haven't even left", but she wouldn't budge and said that was the store policy. I was going to buy my own print in the shop, but seeing how they treated my father we let them know they had lost my business and we left. This business needs a serious lesson in customer service. I'm writing this review in hopes that this doesn't happen to anyone else. BUYER BEWARE! read more
