Also usually packed with kids and teenagers, so you're lucky to get in there - never mind find what you are looking for. Never the less there is a decent range of the usual stuff they sell - good for fancy dress bits and bobs, or cheap presents for girls. The Claire's in McArthur Glen is an outlet store - and sells everything with 20% off - therefore if you are looking for the Claire's exerience in Bridgend - you might be better off getting a bargain there - but for the most up to date stock - stick to the high street shop.

I find this shop to be incredibly tacky and cheap, and the products just fall apart. The store is…read moreincredibly cramped and they appear to have tried to get as many products as possible squished in. The last time I came in here many of the jewellery was on the floor (would you really want to put earrings in that had been trampled on? Surely far from hygienic). On the topic of earrings, I can never understand why so many people decide to have their ears pierced here, it's incredibly busy, and on top of that a staff member does it in the shop window (each to their own I suppose). If you're under 14 you may like this place (pocket money would cover the price of most products), if not head to Accessorize (trust me you'll thank me for it.

This Topshop has been around for a few years now (replacing it's dreadful poxy small predecessor), and I just can't even begin to describe how much I love it. What's great about this Topshop is it's size, whilst I love the flagship store on Oxford Street, it's so big it's often impossible to navigate, let alone finding something in particular, plus it's always packed. The Cardiff store is big, it goes back very far and covers three floors, but is nothing in comparison to its London counterpart. There is big selection of clothes, and the turnover is quite phenomenal, everytime I go in there I always see something new (which is very bad for my bank balance). If you're a fan of Kate Moss they always have her new ranges in straight away, the same also goes for the boutique and ranges from designers such as Christopher Kane. I often find that changing rooms can really let stores down, this Topshop however, has them aplenty, and not once have I had to queue to try clothes on (which makes a nice change). If I have one small complaint it is that the jewelry and accessories selection is minimum to say the least, however as the clothes are simply super, I don't really care.

I'm simple not cool enough for Topman. I don't get skinny jeans and cheque shirts so there's not much point. Even if I did want that then I wouldn't be too impressed by the prices. Luckily even my lovely hates this place. Everytime she's in there she looks like she either wants to cry or kill me. Apparently this is an instant way to make you feel fat and unfashionable (she's hot and size 10 so there's no reason she should feel that). My favorite bit is having to walk through the women's lingerie section on the way out!
