French toast was cooked to perfection, bacon was the right amount of crispy, quality maple syrup and the rosti was out of this world. The breakfast roll was also delicious with a huge serving of avocado on it, crispy bacon, cheese, egg, rocket and a yummy kimchi mayonnaise. The bacon and eggs on sour dough was also delicious. The drinks were also yummy. We had a pot of tea(so good and big enough for two cups) an iced coffee ( delicious) and a hot chocolate (so rich and creamy). Staff are lovely and accommodating. Definitely Worth the drive up the mountain for this.

They close at 5pm weekdays and at 2pm on Saturdays (closed entirely on Sundays). This would be a 5 star review if two improvements were made: 1. Open later so people unavailable during the day can experience this great food at night time, and 2. The service staff are sad and miserable. The older lady who appears to be the owner/manager seems lovely and friendly, but the young wait staff do not ever smile or exchange friendly banter. They look like they're having the most horrible time of their lives, and they may well be. Perhaps the managers are mean, horrible and exploitative! Maybe they're overworked, tired, stressed. I hope not, but this is the impression I get. They're so sad. But the food is just amazing. Especially the chicken risotto! I hope the secret ingredient isn't tears.
