After looking around I returned to them for the motorbike, customer service and future care I feel they will endevour to do and maintain a friendly relationship as they will be the ones who will be servicing my motorbike. I chose, paid for and will be picking my motorbike up on the weekend. It'll be my first bike which they were aware and made sure they gave me as much information about the product as well as the future care of it. But for me it was one of the very few places in Adelaide where you can rent motorcycles of different sorts by the day or longer. They have scooters, cruisers, off-roaders and tourers of various capacities to suit. The owners are brothers John and Paul, and they're the friendliest laid-back guys you'll ever want to meet. So much so, in fact, that you might want to go in a day or two early to complete your rental paperwork if you want to maximise your riding time! In my case, I took out a Yamaha XJ6 for a tour of the wonderful back roads and sights of the Adelaide Hills with a local (my brother) as my guide. In a standard day, we covered around 230km. So there's plenty of scope for anyone to get where they want to go within the 350km/day rental allowance.

And another occasion I needed my oil checked (pesky warning light was giving me the creeps) but baby was asleep in the back so I phoned Percat from my car out on the street and a friendly mechanic came out to help right away! They can also be a little slow to answer the phone some times so it pays to be patient (especially first thing in the morning).

Gold Star's price for the same quality and capacity of battery - $160.

The times provided are also a rough guess somewhat. They are open Tuesday afternoons during daylight savings only and on most weekends, but only for casual riders if they have enough volunteers and do not have an official race or coaching day. So check their website before you load up the bikes and head out or give the secretary a call. You can sign on from 7:30am but practice does not start until 10am and racing at about 11am. Usually it's all over red rover by about 3:30pm. This is a proper track with proper jumps and they accept any bikes and quads pretty much. They group bikes and skill levels and ages so you don't have your 10 year old out there on his 80cc with a 250cc senior rider or anything. To go here and ride for a single practice day is $45 if you are not a member and don't have a licence. If you plan to go here often then get an annual license from the MSA for $100, then buy a recreational licence for the club for practice days for $85.50 per year then it's only $10 per ride day. Ridiculously hard to just be ablt to go for a ride. And you don't get long enough track time to make it worthwhile anyway. If it was just for one person it would be good but to take a family it costs too much and we may as well rent a real property for a night and ride most the weekend. However you can watch for free and it is a good sport to sit and watch or as something a little different to do as a family outing, especially if you have boys, will be smiles all round.

The staff are efficient and reasonable, which suits me just fine. I got referred here from a family member, who got referred from a friend and so on. In all I have never heard any complaints across he board, and although it is not necessary the fanciest garage in the world, it still get the job done with little fuss. So next time you get quoted an insane price to fix your car, perhaps visit Transtc Automotives before shedding any tears. The only thing is that they are not open weekends, which can be a bit of a bugger depending on when your car decides to give up on you.

This guy said "yep seen 100-150" / this is the price / drop in wherever and we'll hook it up & have a look. That computer readout took 5 minutes! Gave then the job. All done at the price quoted that was a lot less than the other guy... Recommend!
