We went and the breakfast sandwich was amazing but the hasbrowns needed a bit of salt but that was fine

We came to City Egg on a Sunday morning and there was plenty of room to sit. It's a kiosk order system, so we placed our order on the little ipad and took a seat. They have a seperate area where the drinks and food come out. They call your name when your drinks and food come out and you walk up to the counter and grab it yourself. The food came out quick and was hot. We got the Wisconsin scrambler and the create your own skillet. The food was really good, but the portion size on the Wisconsin scrambler seemed lackluster for the price. There's better breakfast places in the area, but it's still good for the staples.

Clean atmosphere, friendly staff . My drink was very good & my sandwich was fresh. I would come here again.

I'll admit the ordering setup is a bit strange. When you enter you are met with kiosks to order, which strangely dubbed me as "V" when asked for my name without a way to change it out. The options were also interesting as the seasonal beverages are only available hot so I had to search around a bit for an iced Caramel coffee which was quite a deal. The drink and food come out separate windows which was also unexpected. The silky cinnamon roll stack of pancakes was exceptionally filling. The friendly staff seem a bit rebellious against the mostly automated format of the restaurant and we're constantly looking for ways to interact with customers and spruce up the dining room area. Clearly this is a big draw for regulars to the restaurant.

City Egg has stayed consistently good year after year. The food still comes out (usually) fast, hot and tasty. I do think they could cook the hash browns longer, but that may be personal preference for crispy potatoes. Special thanks to the friendly staff member with the blue hair flair. She is a ray of sunshine - thank you for the great service with a smile.

If you're looking for a quick service, fast casual brunch. This is your spot. You order & pay via screens and then pickup at a counter. My order was delicious and came as I requested. Great spot for breakfast or brunch!

I was on Bethel Road looking for a breakfast place after a Dr appointment and i spotted City Egg. Yelpers told me to give it a try. City Egg is part of the Scramblers chain. I had the Jumpstart sandwich; wheat muffin, fried egg, Swiss cheese, and fresh scallions and spinach. It was mighty good. I had the aioli on the side. The place is bright and airy and the service was quick friendly and attentive. The bathrooms could use a detail.

OK - I love breakfast. I ran into City Egg by accident one day, driving by after an early morning meeting. The restaurant has a very "modern feeling" process. Terminals to order, no waiter or counter person, after you enter the order and pay (I always use debit card, no idea how cash works, but is an "option" on the menu), someone has your ordered drinks (coffee and juice) at a counter. You grab your silverware and seat. Wait for someone to call your name. As you might expect, eggs and omelets galore. (There are lots of options, I just never look). I have eaten here three times. Three different omelets, all tasty and fast. Good coffee, great bread for toast, excellent bacon. I'll back...

All American City breakfast

One cold Sunday morning, my wife and decided to venture down the street from our home to City Egg. We had seen it so many times but had never gone in. When we arrived, we were the only dine-in customers, though two others were waiting to pick up food they had ordered online. We made our orders at the cashier's stand and took a table to wait. The wait was not too long, which was good since both of us were starving. My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich, and I ordered the All-American Breakfast. We agreed that both were good, but neither went beyond what I would consider a normal diner breakfast. As we sat there, several more customers came in, and by the time we left the restaurant was nearly half full. Will I go back? Probably. The food was good and the restaurant was clean. So there is no reason not to, especially if I want a hearty breakfast without making it myself. If you're in the Bethel Road area and want a good breakfast, stop in.

I was excited to see the new acai bowl on the menu. It should be thick and scoopable but was so watery the fruit wasn't even sitting on top. I waited for the order, taking it immediately and drove a half mile home, so it wasn't an issue of it sitting. Hope they improve this. Wasted $10.

The Jumpstart Sandwich with a side of chips.

Delicious, fast casual joint. I received great service on my visit. The sandwich was tasty and filling. The chips were fine. I probably would get a different side next time.

I actually quite liked this place based on my first visit. I liked that you walk in and place your own order on some iPads so you can take your time and review the options. They had a good number of breakfast options and also some lunch ones. I was easily able to substitute out the pork sausage for turkey sausage on a breakfast sandwich. After ordering you take a seat and wait for your name to be called. The place was actually pretty slow that Tuesday morning but that was perfect because I had planned to work on my laptop. They have free wifi which worked great. I was able to sit and work for about 2 hours easily. Much quieter than working at a Coffee shop. The breakfast sandwich was pretty good, could have used a little more salt and pepper on the egg. The iced latte was good too, comparable to other coffee shops. I would deff come back here again. By the time I was wrapping up breakfast it was early lunch time and then it did start to get a little busier.
