good thing is that they took as a walk in, but weren't very kind doing it. I asked about how long…read moremy kids cut would take and she said "I don't know". she saw me looking at the sign of prices, and said "those are old" but didn't offer to say how much a kids cut was. she was under 10, and charged her do adult cut. my daughter said the hairdressers friends came in, and she talked to them the rest of the time. Didnt ask her anything about how much to cut off, or if she liked it, just cut it. Didnt ask if she wanted it dried (it was washed) and just said all done, and left in the back with her friends. when I came to pick her up, she was sitting there with wet hair.

DONT EVER GO HERE! They were so rude and didn't say we needed to bring indoor shoes or anything…read morelike that and when we wouldn't take our shoes off it became the biggest deal in the world. The prices are wrong on the website first of all then they made my poor grandma walk on a slippery wax paper because she was unable to take her shoes off. The lady kept trying to do shellac even though we probably told her 10+ times no. Then they didn't even dry her nails and kept trying to get us out the salon. All we wanted was to treat my grandma to a nice day out since her chemo has been so difficult and this was the exact opposite. I've heard this use to be a nice place but it's different owners now, they also let a dog run all around the salon. Just don't even go here, there's way better options.

Owner Jodi was supervising a new cutter but that guy cut his finger so Jodi took over. So glad…read more Jodi is trained in a salon so he knew the assignment with a dude with waay long (3 years?) pandemic hair. After some sectioning and layering and about six inches off, I still had the long hair my mid-life crisis longed for but in a MUCH more manageable and (I think) presentable format. Jodi was funny and patient with me and his trainee but not fake nice. Great spot. Like everyone else I met in Barrie during a rough time for a sick parent, I was reminded of my fond memories of the kindness of Canadians that I'm not finding as much in the Big Smoke (TO as we used to call it). Jodi should be proud of his shop and his skills...better than any place I've been to in Los Angeles where I now live. He should also be proud of Barrie.
