I came to this mall on several occasions while travelling in Mexico City. To those that have not…read morebeen here before, Palacio de Hierro is the high end mall in CDMX. Located in the posh enclave of Polanco, you can find many of the high-end luxury brands here. The mall is clean, safe, and staffed with attentive workers. I've personally shopped at Gucci, Hermes, and Louboutin both times that I've visited this fine city. I've always had a great experience here. Fyi, the locals in the nicer neighborhoods in Latin America dress The parking is found underground, and there was no hassle in finding a spot. The other patrons are either well-heeled locals, or tourists like myself. Both times I was here with the girlfriend shopping, so I didn't pay too much attention to anyone else. This is a great option for spur-of-the-moment luxury shopping. It's also a great place to get a last-minute gift for a special someone who lives in this fine city. I recommend it.

Whether it be food, clothes, or electronics, this place has more variety than anyplace else. I've been to one other location to purchase clothing, and I actually just happened to come across this store by chance. I actually did need to replace a couple of t-shirts that got torn, so I came to see if they have something similar. Whilst they didn't have exact matches for the shirts I was looking for, they had several more that were kind of close. Really this place is so huge, you are bound to find what you are looking for.

I remember my very first visit to this place...I was amazed. I am unsure if this is the only major…read moremall in the city but it damn nice! I shopped around for clothes. I went inside Sears, which btw, workers dress very nice, much nice than the US. I havent been here in a while but I found it important to note than you see a lot of white Mexicans shopping her but the workers are indigenous. Also, I saw a movie at the theater. I tried to follow the Spanish subtitles but ultimately found it much easier to just listen in English.

I'm getting jealous of the malls here in Mexico. Why are they so much nicer than the ones in North…read moreAmerica? The food courts are a lot bigger! With so much more variety as well. There are also just sooo many different restaurants here to try out. I wish I had time to try them all out. The shops are also quite nice. They have all the shops that you can find in North America and some local ones. Basically every store you need you can find. Ranging from clothing, jewelry, watches, shoes to electronics. There is also a large movie theater on the second floor which unfortunately I didn't have the time to go to. It supposedly has 4D! The decor of the mall is also very nice and it is pleasant just to stroll around with some gelato. Everything here is pretty upscale looking. There is also a large parking garage so your car will be shades from the sun if you shop here.

If you're a tourist, I'd say that this is not really worth the stop. I'm from the US, so most of…read morethe brands here are from there. Because of tariffs, prices are at least 40% higher here. Most of the shops were small with limited selections and sizing. Had more options in other malls. Only a few local brands here and this part of Polanco has traffic as bad as it gets. The mall is also open air, so, while it's pretty, it can be quite hot to walk around.

The mall has three stories, with the eateries sitting on the top floor. All other floors have a great selection of clothing stores, shoe stores, accessories, beauty products, etc. My girlfriend and I have personally frequented Zara, Bershka, Pull & Bear, American Eagle, Dyson, Bath & Body Works, Sephora, and, of course, Starbucks. I find that the customer service and selection here is better than most malls back home. FYI, if you're travelling on a budget, this might not be the place for you, as you will find that the prices are higher here for some items than if you bought them in the US. It's interesting to note that mall culture in Latin America is alive and well, while most malls back home are hanging by a thread. But I digress. This mall provides a great shopping experience. The place is clean and safe, the other patrons are decent locals, and they have had just about anything that I needed every time I've come here.
