The place really got this traditional Chinese style, it really gave us a feeling that it will the food will be quite traditional art as well, quite cosy place. The waiter came to us and bring us the menu not long after we sat down. He was really friendly. The price of the food is generally good, not too expensive. I ordered some fried pawns as appetiser and fired noddle with chicken and shrimps. The pawns tasted quite good. I really enjoyed it. On the other hand I think the fired noddle I ordered was just alright, a bit sweet to me. My partner likes the food. I was curious, so I asked the stuff which kind of the style they did from China. They were really honest to me their food doesn't really come from one region. It came from many places and most of them also adapted the taste of western. They also told me, the restaurant has been in the city quite a long while already, full of history. Overall, I think Full house is nice place to have a meal, they may not have really traditional famous dishes which you can find in china. They got they own style.

The lunch buffet is such a reasonable price and the food is always consistently good. The staff are very friendly and speak both Finnish and English. They even offer an English menu. They offer outside seating for smokers and sun lovers. Even on really hot days such as today they have fans circulating air and it feels very comfortable. I also recommend the deep fried banana and pineapple with ice cream for dessert. I've been coming here for 7 years now and I feel Full House is only getting better and better.

That said you should probably consider another place if you're heading out with a big bunch of loud people. The food is traditional Japanese with a tad of Scandinavian influence. They only serve one menu at a time of which you can choose 3, 4 or 5 courses. They also have an excellent sake selection. Service is minimalistic and polite. Everything in this tiny little nook seems very honest - they're not trying to impress anyone with polished decor or extremely exotic food. They rather keep it simple and focus on doing everything that they do well and with love. It's simply fascinating to watch the couple (I think) work in the open kitchen as their level of concentration and calmness are the kind that one seldom gets to witness in a restaurant kitchen. Like the total opposite of Gordon Ramsey & co. Definitely worth a visit!

We went for the five course, wanting to try everything. The space is bright, clean and open, and we watched the chefs work as we sipped Iki green tea beer. The waitress explained every course in English. The first course was delicious potatoes and beef with linen seeds, which reminded me a bit of Brazilian picanha, dipping the umame sirloin in the crunchy seeds. Then a salad with beautiful chantarelles and peas, followed by a chirashi bowl and miso. By this point we were very, very happy. Then the dessert: a strange cheesecake that tasted like it was made of rubber (or at least, tofu). I don't even eat dairy anymore, so I wouldn't have minded if it was vegan, but if you have to ask...which we did, and the waitress confirmed it was cheese. A disappointing end to an otherwise great meal.

The Ebi furai is my favorite, so definitely get an order of it with whatever you are getting. Great California rolls as well. I had the fried Gyoza which were perfectly crunchy and juicy inside. Can't wait to go again and try some of the main dishes (Beef Tataki sounds great!) I wish we lived closer as we would surely get take out all the time. I'm sure our wallets thank us though. The price level is affordable - I'm happy to spend my own money there as well. I think I've been close to 10 times in the restaurant now, and I have never left unhappy. I would recommend that you let yourself be pampered by the staff. The daily menus can't go wrong, and the wine recommendations tend to be spot on. My understanding is that they have a very wide selection of wines, so if you are interested in choosing yourself you can probably find something interesting. So why 4 stars and not 5? As someone else also wrote, although the food is superb it's not really memorable. I can probably only name 3-4 dishes out of all the dishes I have had there. I've also come to notice that some of the dishes are repeated if you go there again within 1-2 months. That's been a bit disappointing. But Muru is a superb place where you really get value for money and I definitely recommend it.

I was not disappointed. The atmosphere, was classy yet relaxed. It was the type of place I would take an important client but also show up on a Wednesday in flip flops and feel right at home. The service was outstanding. Our server was cool, had a good attitude and presented everything in style. I loved his wine selections as pairings but if you go and love wine, ask to see the handwritten list. It is crazy for being so far in the frozen north. The owner keeps them stacked in his office and only for those willing to ask. A super good spot with lots of character that is certainly worth a stop when you are freezing your balls off in the rugged north.
