Best Organic BC bud in the business. I like the Mango Haze Vape pen The Organic BC Dancehall Flower and a few more selections I don't want to give away the names because it's sold out on me when I post these. 2) The service is great I have to say I love these guys even they don't have tables and chairs. They are very helpful in finding what suits my needs when they are sold out of my favorite brands. 3) The value is is good. They have all prices read more

City Cannabis - Me and Patrick - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

This place is really cool, as soon as you step in the door. It's well decorated, with white walls covered by fake foliage (sounds corny, but it works), nice flooring, touchscreens throughout, and tables with either marijuana or marijuana accessories for sale. I was really impressed how the different strains were in containers with not only a microscope on the lid, but also a plastic piece you could pull off to smell the bud. I placed an order for a pre-rolled joint and waited with serious anticipation as it arrived through a pressure tube system near the register. As it turns out, it was a great strain and I was pleased with the overall experience! Glad I went in! I'll check them out the next time I'm in Vancouver! read more

Great location but the prices here are crazy expensive. EXPENSIVE! I guess they mark up for the area. Since I was traveling, I didn't have much of a choice. I most likely won't return to this establishment on my return to Vancouver so if you're in a tight spot this place will do, but you will pay a HIGH PRICE. read more

Was there with my brother and loved the wonderful help Patrick was! He helped me and helped pick the best strain I he could find for me. The strain he picked is super potent and wasn't too expensive. It was sure nice to be back in Canada and have such an amazing bud tender! Oh and I had the most amazing service from him about 3 years ago and he remembered me!!! read more

Great service and great weed. Reasonable pricing and friendly staff. Big selection and knowledgeable read more

Really cool staff! Very clean and safe environment. Definitely will return when back in Vancouver!

Shop looks nice and tidy but so do most others in this area. The prices are so ridiculous. You can literally go a 5 min walk down the road and pay much much less for the same product. Hate seeing businesses like this mark up items so much. Too expensive please visit another store read more

Small retail store with huge selection. They usually have stock when other stores do not.

Very dry, bush weed has seeds and is way too overpriced. Also, buying a quarter oz., they gave me two half quarter oz. containers and just doubled the price. People rating this place 5 stars obviously do not know about (good) weed. There are way better places than this place. Go elsewhere. As one reviewer said in her review "my heart goes out to you, if this is your first dispensary experience"...... read more

DO NOT BUY HERE Customer service is "great" in that there is a lot of staff on the floor, always someone ringing out, and the shop looks nice. But that's where it stops; they are taking advantage of customers with marketing and visual appeal. The whole reason you are there is for the product. Which you'd think be good with all the effort put into the store... when in actuality they don't care about what they sell you. I purchased what was recommended but it's only sold in larger amounts. Well if that's what you recommend ... go to use the Tweed and it's so dry it turns to dust. Apparently this was packaged in OCT 2018!! I expect product to be FRESH when paying such prices. They are clearly hoping to "take care" of unsuspecting buyers by selling crap product. If you are new and want to try out cannabis do not purchase here; you will be taken advantage of. read more

For the past few months I've been trying new dispensary's out, spoke with many many different bud tenders in search of a particular flower that has a particular terpene profile but, have had absolutely no luck, most people either didn't know what I was talking about or just wasn't sure which products they could offer but, that was until I came to City Cannabis. Here I met a super friendly, kind and professional bud tender by the name of Angelina. As soon as I spoke with her it was as if she knew EXACTLY what I was looking for and her recommendations couldn't have been better!!! After months of searching I've finally found what I was looking for and couldn't be more happier! Major shoutout to Angelina for helping me out and for her top notch customer service! This has been the best experience! read more

Great store, helpful staff, excellent selection. I went with a pink Kush cartridge. They take credit cards, which is very convenient.

Pretty good dispensary for quality of product. The thing that bothers me about this place is the pricing. They have some strains in here for $18/gram! I've never seen a strain go for that much. Also the .5gram pre rolls are very pricey as well. I think it's just an example of a company taking advantage of legalization and using the government as an excuse to charge high prices. You can go one of the many other dispensary's around Van and get same quality for way lower price. read more

-Sawdust dry -Terrible product knowledge -found seeds in the highest priced indica -Way to expensive! DO NOT RECOMMEND !!! read more

Their customer service and procedures need drastic improvement. Pros: * Good quality flower, albeit VERY DRY Cons: * Expensive ($15-17 per gram) * Wasteful packaging * Poor customer service. They messed up my order, I paid for 3 grams but they only gave me 1. When I tried to return to get what they owed me (TWICE), the people working there (including the store manager) did not have the authority to help me. I've had to escalate it to the General Manager who has not yet responded to me. * Poor procedures. They refresh their order numbers daily and do not keep a record of previous orders or receipts. They also do not provide itemized receipts unless you request it. I highly recommend this in case you need to dispute anything. * Young, inexperienced staff. * Very dry flower read more

As Soon as I get in front door I am all ways Greeted by the Nicest People!!! Very knowledgeable about what is the best Medicine for me. Being High Tolerance They all ways have the best strain for me. I am so happy I have a place to go in the Neighbor hood where I can get medicine and not get ripped off!! read more

The store looks great and the staff are nice but watch out for their prices. I went to get a pack of gummies and found that their prices had a a 70% mark up. The typical markup for stores that are not the provincial stores is 22 to 25%. 70% markup wow I will never shop at this store especially when you can get the same product 2 blocks away at a newly opened store for 50% less. read more

Prices Prices Prices, that being said just walk to another location and save yourself $10 on any tools. grinders pipes / yes same products.

This was my first time in Vancouver so I have nothing to compare City Cannabis with. That being said, I have been to many dispensaries in a lot of other places. I prefer medical only stores to recreational stores. They are very different. Judging by the reviews of this place, I'd say that people are holding rec places up to med standards. It's not the same thing. The products are very different, it seems more... mass produced. And the big thing is the prices are also very different. In California we pay a 20% tax at recreational places and mostly no tax for medical only. The quality of the products are not as good and cost a lot more. So, with that in mind, I'd give City cannabis 5 stars because they offer a wide variety and are knowledgeable in what they are selling. I didn't feel like the prices here were particularly high, based on what I'm used to. I also come to recreational places with very low expectations because of my past experiences. It's not like there is a choice for travelers. So, I try to embrace what is offered to me and I was not disappointed. There were so many different types of cannabis, that I didn't know where to start. I was immediately offered help and guidance based on what I was looking for. I have a hard time finding strains that are low thc, because the majority are looking for the highest amount of thc. That's fine for some people but I don't want to be surgically removed from my couch every night. I was able to find what I wanted without compromise. There may be better places in Vancouver, but I was happy with City Cannabis. I got what I came for and they were open on Halloween night! read more

I find it unbelievable that this store doesn't have any indica grams available also does nothing to help there clients other than recommending eighths for $80 and up? Very disappointing read more

This is my idea of a dispensary. Clean, professional and devoted to Cannabis. The cbd oil and sprays are suspect, but the prerolls are on point. This was my hq in Vancity. read more

Clean simple go and get your stuff get out. Just the way I want my flower purchase to be.

DO NOT BUY WEED HERE Dry product, packaged over a year ago, and not stored properly. Gave it another shot and raised my concern with the staff about my last purchase...they gave me the same shitty product again. I'm not sure if they're malicious or incompetent but they're definitely going to contribute to existence of a black/grey market for cannabis. read more

Some staff are ok, but majority are duds. Dont shop here if you don't need to. Prices are wayyy over priced for what you get. Customer service is minimum. The manager, she was a piece of work. Save your money. Shoot elsewhere, or from your neighbourhood dealer. This place is junk. read more

They are trying! And they take all currency but the selection like most of the medical community needs is lacking 22percent is there too and two one gram joints cost 35 American dollars. Shop was busy, male dominated and layout was a bit confusing. Had a weird apple tore vibe read more

They don't return a defective cartridge unless it is brought within 7 days. No refund for me $77 Well, 14 days! Still Disappointed!

Just purchased two G's from here. Not only the packaging was ridiculously excessive, but it also looked a little underweight, so I put on my digies, and sure enough it weighed in at 1.88 G's. I've got witnesses. And a pic, that I'll be posting now. read more

City Cannabis - Where's the rest? - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

Very nice dispensary with helpful staff and tons of selection. They've got iPads where you answer some questions for it to recommend a particular product to buy. Being in a place where you can pay by credit card for cannabis (I'm from the USA) was pretty cool. read more

Prices are insulting to people who know cannabis. A lot of the same brands and strains are available at other non government run stores for a fraction of the cost. I like the atmosphere and the store was busy, but this will not be my go-to shop. read more

Extremely pricey. Hexo Elixir CBD oil peppermint spray, 15ml is $160 + tax. I bought the same product online for $90.

It's a beautiful store w/ lots of friendly. Problem is they sell cannabis not service.and the bigger problem is they have bc govt weed stock. Anyone who lives in Vancouver should know by now that govt weed is hot trash. It's super overpriced and dry and not as potent as less expensive options from small craft growers. read more

This place is god awful and for all intents and purposes, a scam for tourists. I walked in and the guy at the door immediately got in my face and aggressively said, "GIVE ME YOUR ID"(I'm 38 years old for reference). They had roughly 15~ staff members in a tiny retail space that will constantly hound you trying to "help". There are so many staff members working that it is honestly hard to even walk around the store unimpeded. The weed is dog shit tier compared to literally any other dispensary anywhere and I've traveled extensively in all of the legal states. Not only is the weed absolutely terrible and very old, but the prices are the most ridiculous I have ever seen. Some of the bud was $80 per 3.5 grams which is insane. I paid better prices in Manhattan in 2010 at the height of the insane weed prices in NY, that's how ridiculous it is. It's hard to not see this as a place that exists only to take advantage of people that don't know any better. It's predatory. read more
