A member of our party was unfortunately feeling quite under the weather. We took a detour from the Christmas markets to find this apothecary located nearby. It was quite sparsely stocked, with (I assume) the drugs behind the counter and in the back area. We asked the pharmacist what we could take, we were looking for a cold/congestion/cough medicine, and we purchased a few items that were unfamiliar to us (not any brands we knew), and we asked for paracetamol (acetaminophen) and something that looked like Alka-Seltzer cold medicine. We were glad to have something, although it was not effective and we did stop off at other apothecaries. Unfortunately the overstocked shelves found at Walgreens/CVSs back home are not the business model here. read more
