My husband has bought three cars here. HIs family have been clients. Our recent purchase in 2014 was the first time I bought a car and did so with my new husband. I was not involved in the sales or choosing because I wanted my husband to choose the car he wanted best. He's the main driver. We agreed easily on everything from color to size. But when my husband started to have problems with the garage & salesman, after buying, he became very stressed & upset. He was being treated so rudely, like a second-class citizen. Our car cost close to 40K. Paid all in cash. Now, after 4 years of trying to get them to honor our guarantee & to be polite & actually do the services they say they can perform, I finally videod my experience there yesterday & have put in a claim to the police & am searching options to unfortunately sue them. They are greedy, unintelligent people. My husband & I don't talk about Peugeot or this garage because we really don't care. We just want to be treated well & justly. So we don't discuss about them at home. I just told him that I will handle the situation & not to worry about it. It's the main office of Peugeot headquarters that called us, asked us how our experience is with this garage, we said very bad. Then this garage called me.
This garage is filled with fake people working there & they have no idea how to do a good job or be kind or good to customers. This is THE WORST place on the planet to buy a car and it's filthy inside. It feels like a funeral is happening in an abandoned furniture store from 1975. It's a horrible place & the salespeople are obnoxious & judgmental and rude.
The staff at the desk is highly incompetent. They can't schedule appointments or find bills. They blame everything on someone else. Owner of garage the L'oiseau ('the bird' is his name) is a snob and a classist, & incredibly boring with bad breath. He told me I have no manners but I waited and smiled patiently 4 times in the last year standing in a line for service. I waited 2.5 hours yesterday to resolve a problem that no one has any sense of how to resolve, even though I told them how to do it. He then summoned me like a dog, when I insisted we speak and he see photos n my phone. I walked out with him 2 times to discuss aways from other people, discreetly, as I prefer, too. The second time I walked out with him he said 'Viens' as he waggled his finger and I said, 'excuse me? do you want me to come to you outside?'. And he said, 'yes come here'. And I said, 'I am not a dog. I am your customer and you must speak politely to me. S'il vous plait, madame, venez avec moi pour discuter de cette question a l'exterieur' (please come with me madame to discuss this issue outside). I told him he was completely impolite and that is not acceptable and I insisted he say the words S'il vous plait etc, as I instructed. This made him very angry and so he told me he is known for being polite and I said I'm surprised and he stuck his fingers in my face 1mm from my eye and nose. So I called the police.
The acted like complete idiots all the hours I waited and I reminded the workers, 'you know I am here and staying here to resolve a problem and I'm not leaving until it is fixed'. And each time the same three people asked 'what problem?' The human resources director is a scared women with no backbone, power or talent for doing her job. Two women, especially a blond woman that looks like she has 1 brain cell that functions on 'idiot meter' 24 hours a day, and the other woman named Christine who is actually really CAPABLE of doing a good job and the only one working any customer service issues in that place, as far as I can see .. she is constrained by her coworkers who are so incompetent that she has to be, too. Or else she would die from the effort of trying to work with complete ignorameses every day. Poor woman, but she is powerless to help so she can't and therefore she can't do her job.
Finally, another puffy-faced man who looks like he had too much Ricard every day and takes a bath in it, he's a hit-man type hanging around behind the desk, saying rude things & acting like he's on 20 lines of cocaine. He's a complete moron & ugly inside & out. He's a monkey. He should be tranquilized.
If you want to be ripped off and treated like horribly (even if you bought three cars there already) then feel free to visit. These women and the monkey man also laughed and snickered at me, like 5 year old children. I felt so sorry for them that they have no idea how to use their brains for good and common sense,but only for poor performance and making fun of a woman who has the courage in a forgeign language and country to try to resolve an issue fairly and correctly. They should be applauding me because I am sticking up for the good people in the world who always get less. Mr Oiseau and his elite friends don't care about the workers, but I do.
