Now, I love me some Kroger fuel points, so I pretty much always buy my gas at Kroger. They've got…read moredecent gas prices to begin with, and then there's that wonderful "Use $0.10/0.20/0.30 per gallon reward?" prompt that comes up and just makes me so darn happy. Of course, everyone else in Memphis feels that way too, so this gas station is always pretty packed. So you would think Kroger would keep everything working...right? Wrong. I can't tell you the number of times I've pulled up to a pump only to discover that, for whatever reason, pay at the pump isn't working. So I have to trot on over to the window, wait, remember which pump I'm at, and talk to the attendant -- and I'm not sure if it's the speaker or what, but I can never understand them! So a quick stop to get gas on the way to work turns into a 10-15 minute process that I really didn't have time for. They also tend to have pumps that are just plain out of order, marked by cones. This makes the usual congestion even worse, as everyone jockeys for position. It's not enough to make me stop buying my gas here (because, well, I love a good deal, just like everyone else!), but it makes the process that much more frustrating. My advice -- go early in the morning, pick a line, and accept that it may be a a few minutes before it's your turn.

No matter what time I go for coffee, they are always running low on House Blend. The Cappuccino machine is broken most of the time, or out of the White Chocolate Caramel flavor. I like to add Cappuccino to the top instead of the creamer, but a lot of the time the machine just pours out water and ruins my coffee. They are always out of something I need. Whether it is creamer, sugar, lids or straws. Not the cleanest store around. I even called ahead to make sure that the Cappuccino machine was working.. and when I got there it was not. If you want good coffee, visit the Mapco down the street on Brooks Rd.

A man came inside while I was waiting for the police and said his card had been compromised by a skimmer at the pumps earlier in the day. The store clerk was cool. This is a very busy location so be careful in the parking lot. Lots of extra parking available, so that is a plus. Subway is on site and was very popular during our visit. You can also grab some snacks , fruit, coffee, etc here This LOVE'S is in a very suspect area! We saw lots of interesting people. I don't know that I would return here in the future.
