Five stars for Costco and one star for the rude customers…read more Today, 11/17/25, I noticed that the customer ahead of me at checkout was having difficulty with their new pre-checkout process which was painful watching. By the time she finished, the line grew from 2 to at least 10. Anyway, I found everything I wanted. I am reminded, every time I shop the Costco warehouses, why I shop Costco on-line, although, I do enjoy shopping for wine even though the selection is limited.

I like Murphy Gas Stations and Stores…read more The gas is always competitive in price. The area is kept as clean as one could keep a station!!! The employees are helpful, friendly and just down right good people. Sometimes, I see some minor jobs given to the homeless for some degree of contribution in return; this a great community Service!!! The bathrooms are kept clean; indeed a huge challenge in any public venue!!! Every employee works hard and yet have time for a smile, short talk (they are busy) and pleasantries. All shelves are stocked well, including drinks, (still searching for the healthier food and no sugar items - The Gas costs are competitive!!! I personally visit 3 different Murphy Stations: Littleton, Lakewood and the new one in Arvada, all are designed the same with great service!! Did I mention, "The gas prices are very competitive?" ;~}

I paid for my drink at the self check out, realized forgot to grab a straw so went back to grab one and then left. Next thing I know this man is coming out taking a picture of my licence plate and walking away. I ask him why and he swore that I had not paid for my drink and I was stealing. I told him I would pay for the drink again, and could prove that I paid for it, but he swore I hadn't. After a minute or so he comes back out and said he checked and I had. (Which could have happened before he just took a picture of my licence plate and walked away) As a younger woman I am already nervous about going out anywhere at night and this just made it so much worse. I will not be taking my money to this maverick again at any time of day as the disrespect and lack of care for their costumers is not ok and should not be allowed at any time.

Straight to the Point…read more There is little to zero fanfare with this fuel center. Instead of a store, you will find a little booth where you can make small purchases. The real show is with the gas pumps. There are a lot of them, and they are easy to get to.

Well, THAT didn't go as planned. Arriving, the scene was grim right off the bat. Every pump was in use and had at least one extra car waiting in line. One pump was blocked off and couldn't be used, which didn't help. After a long wait, I finally started pumping my gas and tried to throw away a soda can while the pump was going, just to find the trash can overflowing. On the plus side, I had a lot of points to use, so I got a decent price on gas...

As a youngish young woman, with a new job in a warehouse and poor foresight/planning, a few weeks…read moreback I found myself with $1.50 to put toward gas at this station and a couple fingers crossed hoping I'd make it to work on said $1.50 to clock in and earn some money to fill up my tank properly. On this early morning a few weeks ago, I made it to work on time and early in fact, with a little gas to spare because of the Kindness of a gentleman who works here named Ken- he had an extra 6 bucks that he put in my tank, and that $7.50 got me where I was going and then some. It's hard to tread water on no income and wait 2 weeks for a first paycheck at a new job, and it's even harder when you don't know for sure if you've got enough gas to make it to work again, let alone home afterward. Longish story short(er), this is the best gas station ever as far I am concerned. Their coffee is excellent and the people they employ are better---Thank you Ken, and thank you Thomas. I live, get to work another day, at my brand new cool ass job because of YOU. Thank you.
