There was nothing I could do at that point but pull forward so I went on through. After, I went inside to tell the people that it kept my change. They were really nice and didn't give me any hassle about it (I mean, why would I make up that story just to get $2). Gas prices aren't the cheapest in the area, but not much is cheap in that area. The location is pretty convenient but somewhat awkward and the space it's in is kind of tight so don't think you can rush in and out as easily as some gas stations.

I went to check it out and they were over $1 less than the state average for fuel prices. This makes what the news called " a gas pricing war " since all the other stations in the area lowered their prices as well. This usually is just a special price when a new station opens up, but with high gas prices, I didnt want to miss out, when I arrived there was a line of cars waiting to fill up. The interior of the store was clean and fully stocked and checkout was quick and effortless.

It was close enough to where I was and I ended up coming here a few times in the two weeks I was here driving all around Denver. When I picked up my son and his wife from the airport, he asked me if I had a good time. I told him I did. He replied, "It looked like you did, you drove over 500 miles!" He had reset the trip odometer before he left and I didn't realize it. LOL So, yes, I needed plenty of gas! The pumps were easily accessible. There are more gas options than I've seen in California. They have Diesel, Unleaded Ethanol Free, Unleaded, Unleaded Plus, and Super Unleaded. You can see the Diesel & Unleaded gas prices on a large sign near E. Briarwood Ave. This station is located really close the the E. Arapahoe Rd./Colorado State Highway 88. There is a store as well. I never had the need to go inside, so it remains unseen to me. When I find myself driving around Denver, I will keep this gas station in mind!
