Often times when you can find a pump that works, a receipt will not print, because the paper has run out. You must go inside, wait in line for the clerk to print your receipt. This Howdy's is located conveniently to my home, I've been a customer for over a decade it use to be a pleasure doing business at this location. NO LONGER! Today I asked a clerk why the pumps were off line so much. I was told I should always drive up to the pump and look at the screen to see if the pump is on line before exiting my car to pump gas. I don't think I need to do that, I will purchase my 3 fill-ups a week at a different gas station.

To find locations that have RV hookups, go to the Love's app, go to Stores and filter by Amenities and then RV hookups. We reserved a site on camplife.com. We did not go into the store so this review is only for the RV sites. This Love's is located about 6 miles from the Mexican border. It is spacious, clean and well lit. There are 6 back in sites and a check-in kiosk nearby. We heard a couple of trains go by but for the most part, it was surprisingly quiet. The sites are far enough from the truck fueling area that we didn't hear any semis coming or going. There were a few things I should mention. The sewer hookup is higher than the site, so the waste has to go uphill, which is not ideal. We had to lift our hose in sections to help gravity make things flow. The night we were here, it was below freezing and the water froze in some of the sites. There's a farm nearby and you can smell the cows at times. Lastly, we heard gunfire in the distance, we're guessing it was coming from Mexico, but it was far enough that we didn't feel unsafe.

Unfortunate I had locked myself out of my car, keys and phone inside, but I had paid for my gas so I had my wallet in my pocket. I went inside to ask if possible they could help me or had maybe an emergency kit to open my car. Two employees Angel and Ethan came outside to assist. They were able to borrow a car lockout kit from the car wash located two buildings over! These gentlemen were able to help me open my car, what a blessing!! The floor was nasty, the counters around the soda ftn. were wet and sticky and about three of my first drink selections were out of the flavoring syrup. All this time two men, one young black man (who spoke with a Haitian accent) and one Hispanic man were standing behind the registers silently pondering the meaning of life. And then the final bonus for taking the time to stop in, the drink fnt. had the .89 cent signs all around it, not to mention the .89 poster size signs all around the glass windows of the store. Nope, $1.69 each cup. The good thing is we hardly drink sodas, the better thing is we will not be stepping into this pigsty of a store ever again.

This was some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered, the cashier told me that the price on the sign was wrong and there was nothing she could do. The sign clearly stated a lower price than what her register had and she didn't care. Sadly this isn't the first time this has happened here. She was rude, disinterested and gave me no choice but to walk away without buying anything. I will never spend my money ever again at any Valero from now on. Also note, this place is not only engaged in deceptive pricing but is nearly impossible to find any trace of on the internet as the name on the huge sign in the street says Valero. This business is the Valero on 8004 N Mesa and crossroads. More people need to know about this place hiding its poor customer service and inaccurate signage. Like most gas stations it has an ATM machine inside, offers restrooms, drinks, snacks, ready to go hot snacks, donuts, aspirin, ibuprofen, tobacco, etc. I have never encountered any issues. Thus Speedway is always clean and has amiable costumer service.
