I am filing a complaint against an employee, Julie Ragan who stated she is the "Pharmacy Manager"…read moreat Walgreen's Pharmacy located at 735 CABARRUS AVE W, Concord, NC 28027. I placed a refill request for 7 prescriptions that I take daily on 2/07/2025 around 8am using the Walgreen's Pharmacy App. I re-fill all 7 of these at one time & place the order each month at the same time. I have been re-filling these medications for several years now using this same app. I placed the order on the 2/07/2025(prior to running out) knowing I would have enough to get me through the weekend & planned on picking them up after work on 02/10/2025. I received notification on 2/10/2025 at 3:45 pm that only 3 were ready for pickup. I received a notification on 2/10/2025 at 3 pm via the app stating there was a "refill exception" on 4 of the medications and needed to contact the store. No more information was provided on the app. I called the pharmacy as instructed. After waiting around 20 minutes, Julie Ragan answered the phone. I was explaining to her that I put the refill request in Friday morning while I still had enough to get me through the weekend but I am now completely out of one medication & will need it for this evening(02/10/2025). I explained that's why I submitted the refill Friday knowing that would leave the rest of the weekend & most of Monday if necessary to get all 7 refilled. I do not know what the refill request exception was(and still dont) as there were refills left on all medications. I explained the situation & was told by Ms. Ragan that its not gonna be ready by tonight(2/10/2025). I explained the situation again & that I placed the order last Friday(2/07/2025) so this would not happen. Then she proceeded to tell me they were doing inventory & there were 200 other prescriptions ahead of mine & that they're not filling any prescriptions at the moment. So then I asked what I needed to do to get the prescription filled? She then said I'm just going to have to wait until tomorrow(2/11/2025). I explained that was not satisfactory & that this was the entire reason I sent the request in 3 days ago so I would not run out. It was obvious, she could care less. She just kept interrupting me everytime I tried to talk so she wouldn't have to listen. I told her I did not care that they were doing inventory & that has nothing to do with me or the other "200 prescriptions" waiting to be filled. I could understand if I waited until the day of or day before to request the refill but this was the SOLE reason for doing it last Friday morning!!! Furthermore, if I tried to place the refill any sooner than that, it would have came back that it was too soon to request the refill. So explain to me how to get my medications refilled. Can re-order too soon but 4 days apparently is not long enough. I've had to deal with this on and off every couple months & its getting ridiculous. Everyone points the finger at everyone else. The drug store blames the doctor, the doctor blames the drug store. Why is this so complicated? This was NOT the situation today as the complaint I had is that the Pharmacist can't refill a medication that she's had 4 days to fill! I asked to speak to a manager & Ms. Ragan proudly asserted that she was the manager. I then told her I was going to stop in there on the way home to get this issue fixed & she said that she was not going to talk to me. She then puts me on hold about 15 minutes which I can only assume was a last ditch effort to get rid of me. She then comes back on the line & said she could transfer the refill to another store to see if they could fill it. She then tells me to hold on again, then she has a different pharmacy employee pick up and tell me that it could not be transferred and the doctor would have to send in another prescription. So, they transferred 4 medications to a different Walgreen's Pharmacy located at 10 Pitts School Rd NW, Concord, NC 28027. That was at 4:50pm and the doctors office closed at 5. Needless to say, the prescription I needed did not get filled as I didnt expect since it was 10 minutes to closing time. As a matter of fact, she only sent 4 of the 7 prescriptions to the other Walgreen's. Its a real shame I have to waste my time dealing with an immature employee who doesn't give a shit. I have been going to this pharmacy over 10+ years & know most of the staff really well. They know me on a first name basis & always speak with me, ask me how I'm doing, etc while I'm there getting my prescriptions. I've never had ANY problem with ANY staff there prior to all of this. But now after having dealt with this SORRY excuse of a Pharmacist, its beyond enraged me to the point to where its being addressed everywhere it can be noted. With social media platforms out there, everyone is going to know Julie Ragan. I hope she was successful with her inventory & that the other 200 prescriptions ahead of mine weren't a high priority. Julie, good luck with your upcoming comedy tour!

My sister just got out of the hospital and we went to Walgreens to pick up her prescriptions. While…read morewaiting on a long drive through line in excess of 35 minutes we called the pharmacist to make sure that she had the prescriptions and we were told by the pharmacist Trang via telephone that she only had one prescription and it would be 90 minutes before it would be ready. Even with her unclear accent and her choppy rendition of the English language her cold and unsympathetic words were loud so very rude. We called the nurse at the hospital to let him know that only one prescriptions was was received; the nurse immediately called Walgreens and spoke with the pharmacist (Trang) who was described as having a thick accent and was Very-Very rude and gave him a hard time about the prescription. Once we finally made it to the drive through window the pharmacist (Trang) denied speaking with the nurse and never inputted the prescription. My sister was doubled over in pain and her only saving grace was Kesha (the pharmaceutical tech) who went above and beyond to help find and fill the prescription that Trang the pharmacist chose to ignore and dismiss! Kesha spoke with the nurse and was able to fill the prescription in minutes. The job of a pharmacist is a crucial and much needed job, and for a Head Pharmacist to blatantly dismiss and deny a sick persons medication to aid in their recovery is terrible, but to be rude and dismissive to a medical professional who is concerned for a sick patient recovery is discussing! We often use this pharmacy and we can always expect to receive unprofessional, rude service, with a dismissive attitude from Pharmacist Trang. Customers deserve better service than the subpar service Pharmacist Trang is giving! The only reason I gave two stars for this review is because of Keshas professionalism, caring ways and her willingness to always help everyone.
